I've been climbing off and on for about 16 years and really appreciate the attention to detail that Movement offers. Staff are always super helpful. Events are plentiful and if you're wanting to up your game with classes, even learn to lead or belay, they've got you covered. And, nothing beats a clean gym. Bathrooms are really well kept and there are always plenty of locker and cubby spaces. I also appreciate the many lounging areas, both inside and outside of the climbing areas. The layout is well thought out and you don't really feel crowded despite having lots of folks in the gym with you. Membership has its perks for sure and the punch passes are another great option if you're getting your feet wet. Love this gym.

It also has a larger fitness area, including a dedicated room for fitness classes and a dedicated yoga room. Given the extra space they are able to offer more class options as well. Pricing reflects other gym franchises around the country - you get what you pay for with Movement IMO, if you choose to take advantage of the many membership benefits available to you (e.g. special events, gear discounts).

I've also seen others arrive 15-20 minutes late and still be let in just not me. Front desk was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking basic empathy. The way it was handled was upsetting enough to bring me to tears. As I was already leaving, they suddenly said they might let me in, too late. I canceled my membership. There are far better, more professional studios around.

When Sankalpa first opened up, I wasn't sure how I felt about the combination of yoga and pole in…read moreone space (didn't realize that was a thing) but when I finally made it out to a class, everything made sense. The space feels so serene between the "jungle wall" of the pole room, well-equipped locker room, and plants everywhere. The only class I've taken (a few times) is Pole 4 with Estee. I've had her as an instructor at a few other pole studios, so it was nice to have some level of familiarity with her teaching style. The weird details I like about Sankalpa are the microphone headset worn by the instructor and the water refill station next to the front desk. I've made a few friends at the studio who come here more often than I do. It's a little far of a drive for me (plus traffic) because of where I live, but if you can, definitely check out their variety of yoga, dance, and pole classes. Generally explore all the spots around Denver to experience different teaching styles and communities. Hooray for fitness!

I felt immediately less tense and energized walking out of class and even signed up for another class right away! This place is also so well kept and clean. The studios themselves have the best views out the windows which I think adds a lot to the class. My favorite class I've been is the heated class on Sundays with Chelsea and it always helps me feel ready for the week. Chelsea is also a wonderful teacher who makes sure everyone feels comfortable during the class.
