Went to the Bellmeade location yesterday for a facial (stress relieving one) and saw Mary. She…read morefirst waxed my eyebrows for me and then did the facial. The location itself isn't very spa-like or quiet (looks more like a hair salon - this is why 4 stars instead of 5), but I loved Mary! My skin felt amazing after the facial and my eyebrows looked great-she really listened to me about the brows. She's the quiet type (fine with me!) and won't be super bubbly or talk your ear off, even before and after the treatment. I wouldn't mind seeing what the other location is like, but would probably only do that if Mary works there too. I'll be back to get the dual exfoliation facial. Thanks, Mary!

I think this may have been my worst pedicure experience to date. my tech was rude and short when…read morespeaking to me. My pedicure water bowl wasn't working half the time. I asked to move to another chair and was ignored. I asked her msmy other questions about my polish being old, etc and she never responded to anything I asked. She moved my too soon and my nails messed up and she acted upset she had to redo them. I was then moved again to drying station and I tried telling her the drying fan she put me at wasn't working and she argued with me. I had to get some other employees to check and it was infact broken. She never came back and checked on me. I had to go get her again and tell her it was infact broken. She then moved me another fan. I then noticed something had blown onto my nail from the fan. She once again never checked back on me. I had to get another nail techs attention and show them my nail. Instead of taking the polish off and redoing it, they scrapped it off and put more polish over nail making it uneven and ugly. I was told it would take to long to take it off and do it over. We also were never offered drinks or anything during our visit. However, I heard other nail techs offering their customers drinks. To be labeled as a higher end salon, and your prices being more than many others, you would expect a better experience and service but that was not the case. I thought we might be have been offered a discount but nothing was offered although I told the receptionist that we had a horrible experience. We were highly disappointed and will not be back.

She oozes with lies and it is sickening to see Larissa represent a woman like Jeannie with deep roots in faith, honesty, and helping the community begin to tarnish that reputation. Few examples - Larissa comes out and compliments my wife on losing weight...then tries to sell her on the ultrasonic liposuction...fast forward a few minutes later when my wife asks her something specific about a past treatment, Larissa says "I don't remember everyone that I treat, I don't know." Oh really...how did you know she lost weight? Next we get to the price argument. Jeannie ran a special, just like she is doing now on groupon for a full body laser hair removal for $499. Larissa won't hear of it. She claims there is a doctor she needs to pay. Or that laser costs $1200 minimum. Compares Bossier to Dallas. Uses choice words to make the customer feel like a liar. She even goes as far to say that Groupon made an error and she demanded they take the ad down (untrue, since I am close friends with Eric and Rich...co-founder and current CEO respectively, and a quick chat uncovered this lie). Groupon is going to flag The Skin Station and reach out to the 63 customers who bought the Extra Large Area coupon to verify Larissa "turned them away" as she claimed. Hopefully this was the only true thing she said meaning a permanent ban from Groupon due to breach of contract. Jeannie needs to keep Larissa secluded to the back room on the laser and keep her away from any type of customer sales interaction. You never know who she will lie to and the adverse impact it will have in the long term. Get someone honest to represent the business and I am sure you'll recover.
