However, that is why I feel it is important to review him from the standpoint of the functional/alternative medicine services/treatment he offers/provides. I came to Dr. Rosen in a very bad way - completely devoid of any energy, excessive somnolence, an inability to focus/concentrate, in continual joint pain. He charged far too much for an initial consultation, however, I thought, 'okay, at least he'll have potential diagnosis(es) or a solid plan forward'. Nope. He failed to provide any specific plan for me, simply scribbling on a white board about how my adrenals were likely fatigued. Zero insight into a tailored plan for my specific needs; no real plan forward at all. He simply wanted me to agree to one of a few generic treatment options that ranged up into the tens of thousands of dollars. He only reinforced my skepticism of this 'science'. He was nice enough, though I suppose it's easy for one to be nice when trying to get a lot of money out of you, again with zero specifics or any real plan in place. He could be a fine chiropractor but when it comes to actual medicine, it seems as though he is purely a salesman of supplements, expensive lab tests, and lifestyle recommendations. Oh, and then the only follow-up I received from him or his team was constant spam from a mailing list they placed me on without my knowledge/consent. My takeaway from this experience? - this practice offers costly, scientifically unproven alternative/"functional" medicine at best and, at worst, it's a calculated effort to exploit vulnerable people for lucrative financial gain. I am so glad I wasn't coerced into pursuing this further. Highly advise to avoid at all costs.

Once I went to a real functional medicine Dr they discovered what the cause of all of my health issues was in one visit. I really enjoyed seeing Dr Singh, unfortunately she prescribed me a new medication at every visit. Prozac, Wellbutrin, adderall, Xanax, etc. A functional medicine Dr does not polydrug their patient to mask their symptoms. Then came my 4 year long journey of withdrawal due to Dr Singh abruptly taking me off all the antidepressants she had me on. She has done this to 2 other people that I know personally, and they have suffered equally as much as me as a result. When I realized that I was in withdrawal, her only response to me was "want me to send you another prescription for Prozac?" I stayed off all the meds and finally made out of the withdrawal hell, battled severe withdrawal symptoms including depression, suicidal ideation, panic attacks and horrific akathisia just to share a few and I now feel strong and amazing and I am returning to warn others and perhaps educate the Dr herself of the damages that overprescribing can cause. Orly provided swift care including an antibiotic injection, an injection for pain and a prescription for oral antibiotics. I am 100% sure she saved me from having to go to the hospital. Much to my surprise, I got a phone call that evening from Orly checking in on me to make sure I was not feeling worse--in which case she would have recommended I go to the ER. She also called me on Saturday. I received an unprecedented level of care at Revival Health.
