Theater Spielraum is a nice and comfortable place. It has somehow a family like ambience, you relaly feel at home or as a guest with good old friends. The actors are brilliant, I enjoyed the play "Thomas Mann - der Zauberberg" very much and I also have seen some time ago the play of "Borchert - Draußen vor der Tür". The play of Borcherts Draußen vor der Tür was an play rehearsed by a play group of disabled people. Theater Spielraum supports such groups as far as I know very often, which makes it even more nice to go there and support them as well - they definitely deserve it, they are great actors and you see how much fun and passion they have for theater playing.
Overall the theater is quiet small, but it makes it even more comfortable to sit there in a group of people and watch the actors doing their job almost for you alone. They are very close to you and you can also see them running around before and after the show, sometimes in the break as well. They take the same exit as you do and you feel like part of the game, not only a spectator.
There is a small bar when you enter, where they serve you snacks and drinks.
The service there is also very nice. read more
