The Lagrein grape is native to the valleys of South Tyrol. It is a nicely balanced tannic red wine. The wine prices are very reasonable. For starters we shared a salad. For main courses I selected the Lamb chop special and my wife ordered the Goulash. Both dishes we wonderfully prepared. For dessert we shared the apple strudel.
