On the positive side, our hostess was kind and attentive, and the food came out quickly, hot, and all orders were correct. That part of the experience was smooth and appreciated. However, the biggest issue for our group was the heat. It was a warm evening, and both the reception area and our bay felt uncomfortable, as if there wasn't strong central air or maybe none at all, not even in the inside. It made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. We also had trouble with our simulator not working properly, which was frustrating since that's a big part of why you go. When we asked for help, we were told it wasn't within our hostess's expertise, and we weren't offered a different bay. Since we had just started and logged everyone in, it impacted a good portion of our time. Another downside was the drinks, some of the canned seltzers were warm, even on the second round. We ended up switching to tap beer just to ensure we had something cold. Overall, there are definitely some good aspects, and the pricing felt fair, but we expected a bit more from the experience. Not sure we'd rush back.

For the golf perspective, you'll have a chance to set up your character avatar on the tablet screen. You can also browse the game mode type and select it on there as well. Our group stuck with individual hits and alternated to team game modes as well. Golf clubs were available right beside the tablet. Golf balls are deployed using the sensor. For the food, the server advised us on what we included for the visit. There were a few items that were not part of the package. There were plenty of bar food such buffalo wings, pizza, etc. There were definitely alcohol and non-alcohol options. I got one of the mocktails and it tasted like a jolly rancher (it was very sweet). The server was very attentive; we never had to go looking for him. The busser also came often to clear plates from the tables. Overall, as someone that doesn't really golf, I had a lot of fun. Come ready to swing at golf balls or hungry!

So I feel like it would be worth it if you come back during the day to play again. I thought it would be more intricate/challenging or interesting since it's owned my tiger woods. But you can get through this really fast. So we had to wait behind people a lot for the next hole. I think I would rather go to a regular mini golf place because it's more fun with obstacles. There are families that come here with kids, there are couples coming for dates, and there are bro-y type groups that come too. They have food, ice cream, and alcohol here that you can drink while playing.

People who are serious…read moreabout the game, people who are there to have a good time, people trying to get sh*t faced... and then there are people like me and my crew... somewhere in the middle of those 3. Regardless, everyone can use some help with either advice, driving the cart, or casual conversation between tee boxes. But you're in Las Vegas. I'm not looking for a typical caddy supplied to me by the course. I want something... extraordinary. Laura and Platinum Tees has fulfilled that with an ingenious idea. All instructions can be found on their website, or even a inquiry by phone or email. We had a great time with our Caddy Ari. She was funny, cordial, receptive, adaptive, and we all had great conversations with her as she took care of her caddy duties; which included helping me win a bet with my friend by shaving a few strokes for a lower score. Now whether that score was legitimate is really between me and her. You should understand what you're really paying for here. There may be a caddy at Platinum Tees you can choose from that can tell you to use a Wedge over a 9, utilize a half swing due to wind, and land on the green... but that isn't what WE were really looking for. If you want all that in a beautiful package, you may want to hit up Tisha Alyn or Paige Spiranac for a 5 figure le$$on. All in all, it really doesn't matter. Whoever you are, and whomever you get from Platinum Tees, you're going to have a good time. My Birthday is in San Diego this year. I already know who I'm going to call for this trip. All I got to ask is, do they have a punch card or frequent flyer membership?

Didn't really talk, didn't know much about golf and weren't entertaining. I was so bored I just started drinking. I offered the caddies drinks to try to loosen up the moment but they said it was too early to drink. I was thinking, damn, this is vegas though. The caddies came out to be $325 each with tip and didn't bring any value to our golf round.

Shadow Creek Golf Course - 5 Stars…read more Las Vegas is a strange place to go looking for peace. It's built on noise neon, money, motion. But then you slip away, out past the chaos, and somehow you land in this surreal patch of green that feels like it was dropped from the sky by accident. Shadow Creek isn't just a golf course it's an illusion. One minute you're surrounded by rock, dust, and desert grit, and the next you're standing in a lush, perfectly manicured oasis with water, trees, and fairways so clean they don't feel real. Like someone painted life over the wasteland. I didn't come here chasing a perfect scorecard. That's not the point. Some guys get locked in on their swing, their numbers, their pride. Me? I'm here for the exhale. The slow walk. The sound of nothing urgent. It's less about the game and more about disappearing for a while. Service is dialed. Clubhouse is sharp. Food and drinks hit exactly how they should. You can go full luxury or keep it simple either way, it works. No friction, no nonsense. I finally stopped saying "I'll get there someday" and just went. One buddy, no circus, no chaos. Just a couple drinks, a few swings, and a day where the phones didn't matter and nobody needed anything from us. That alone is worth the price of admission. Some people step up to the ball and see pressure. I look around and see an escape hatch. Out here, you're not chasing a score. You're buying a little piece of quiet in the loudest city on earth.

I was volunteering for a LPGA/LET tournament called the Aramco Championship. I had the opportunity to walk all 18 holes over three consecutive days. Let's start with the practice putting green...stakes stuck into the grass (no cups to put to) and it doesn't roll nearly close to how it did on the course. For it being on the strip, pretty understandable that there isn't a long open driving range, there are about 10 bays and you hit into a net. Their practice golf balls and mats are trash, I do not recommend hitting driver or woods. The course doesn't provide water on the course either it be complimentary waters in your cooler or fill stations on the course (it's Vegas, it's fuckin hot). The refreshment cart prices were absolutely ridiculous...proceeded to get a 6 pack of Pacifico cans and was charged $80 bucks! Didn't get anything else after that interaction. The course itself was okay, it was pretty challenging, pace of play was good. After the course we hit their restaurant/bar area, my buddy gets me a Michelada. The server brings the drink over and spills it down my back. She process to laugh and walk away. When I asked for another drink, I had to call her ass out to get a comped one. To end the Bali Hai experience, one of the Valet guys grabbed my Honda key fob out of my friends Volkswagen and decided they were gonna fuckin hold onto it. I get that grabbing it was a mistake, but for fucks sake, put it back in the car. I ended up leaving Vegas without my Honda key. My girlfriend had to meet me with a spare an hour away from home so I could get my car out of a parking structure. I called the pro shop, they advised me that they had the key and that I should provide them with a FedEx label so they could ship it back. Never acknowledged their screw up and expected me to pay for my own shipping. The apology from Sharon was not sincere and they didn't offer shit for their screw up. Right out of the gate...no water in any of the carts. Not one refill station on the course for any vessel you have on hand. Apparently hydration is a luxury item here. Then comes 18... We're literally waiting green side as the rest of our group finished out the round and a marshal came in hot like we're holding up the Masters. They were basically circling us like hawks trying to repo the carts talking about overwhelming the cart barn. Oh and can't forget the random guy walking around with his face completely covered in cream. Sunscreen? Zinc? Frosting? No clue. Looked like he lost a fight with a whipped cream pie and just decided to ride it out for 18 holes. Honestly, he might've been the most entertaining part of the day. Overall, absolute clown show. Overpriced, underwhelming, and somehow managed to make a 4-hour round feel like a chore. Do yourself a favor and save your money, your sanity, and your hydration levels. There are way better courses out there that actually act like they want you there. Bali High Prices, Bali Low Standards.
