I was told I could not get better, but only worse and the degeneration would eventually require surgery. This month I am being discharged from physical therapy at Mayo Clinic. At one point I had to spend several months using a cane, walking sticks and at times, even a wheelchair. If you do the research, you will see how science supports what happened to me: Mayo Clinic describes neuromuscular massage as: "Specialized manipulation of muscles, tissues and joints that increases circulation, rids the body of harmful toxins, boosts the immune system, soothes aching muscles, reduce pain, and decreases stress and swelling." For over 30 yrs. Joanne has dedicated her life and a career with a love of massage and healing. She is the first therapist I have had that I totally have faith in and I have have around a dozen therapists for long term treatments. If you are looking for deep, painful treatments, go someplace else. Her style combines a firm touch with therapeutic maneuvers I do not fully understand, but I reap the benefits of less pain and more freedom that gets progressively better all the time.
