I had injured my knee quite badly after weight lifting and running and just googled a physiotherapist within the yonge and finch area. Since this was my first time doing physiotherapy, I didn't know what to expect at all. After I called to make an appointment, Amy had called me personally to tell a little bit about how I got injured, where the pain is, and what to bring to the first appointment (shorts, shoes). During the first appointment, Amy went beyond my expectations when examining my knee. She thoroughly explained where the underlying pain is and which particular muscle was most likely causing me issues. To make sure you understand, she uses an app on her ipad which shows you muscle, joint, and tissue groups, so you could see exactly how your injury is causing any misalignment. She relieved the pressure in the knee and within the first 3 appointments, I was completely 100% and walking perfectly. She uses another app which sends you at-home exercises to do on your own which was especially useful in speeding up the healing process. Note, the rooms are quite small and if you are looking for something where you need complete silence, this might not be the best for you. This isn't an issue for me as I can fall asleep pretty easily during the acupuncture sessions. She's super friendly and especially caring! I now continue to see her for muscle rehabilitation and acupuncture for muscle relief.

She worked out the kinks in my shoulders/upper back. Then went to work on my feet. Oh man, if you are the slightest bit ticklish I think you are going to have a hard time with the reflexology. There were definitely momemts I wanted to die (but in a good way) b/c it was ticklish. But afterwards I gelt so much relief and rension released in my feet. I practically skipped to my car afterwards - that's how great I felt! The clinic is very clean and everyone is friendly. We waited a little bit even though we made an appointment, they didn't seem to be ready for us, but it wasn't too long and they did offer us tea or water. The rooms were clean and spacious. You change inside the room. The bedding was really soft and comfortable. Very attentive masseuse. She asked me where I had muscle pain and really did focus on those areas, unlike some other places. She really did help me release those knots, unfortunately I didn't get her name. I had the Thai herbal ball massage which was really relaxing. It's herbs and essential oils wrapped into a ball shape and it's warmed and rubbed on your back. Although its not as good as the ones in Thailand. I really enjoyed the massage and will definitely come back. Although they might need to fix the CD player, because it kept skipping.
