Woke up this AM with a terrible neck pain and found Sarah on Yelp. I normally wouldn't look for a massage therapist in Evanston because I live in the city. But I was going to be headed that way for a meeting today and I have never found a great massage therapist in the city so I figured give Evanston a try. Luckily she had a slot in her schedule and fit me in same day. She is easy to talk to. Not too woo-woo. Down to earth, understands basic health and medicine that other massage therapists are sometimes clueless to. She is strong and goes deep without being a bull in a china shop - she is very smooth in her movements. Her office is clean, organized, and had a relaxed vibe. It was quiet too, which I really appreciate as many places I've gone to lately are really loud with thin walls. Plus, I love that it does not have smelly candles or potpourri. It was one of the best massages I've had in Chicago. I think she will be my go-to gal from now on when I'm needing to de-stress or have pain. I live near Andersonville and have tried many massage therapists in my neighborhood, but from now on, I'll be trekking to Evanston to see Sarah.

I started seeing her due to a torn labrum in my back from years ago, she comes to my home every Sunday and breaks the reoccurring tension barriers in my upper back from this injury and also helps with me new injuries and makes me feel a whole heck of a lot better.... There is a ton of scar tissue from the injury and without treatment my back swells up from wear and tear (exercising, which is a need for me). I have gotten to know her and her business partner/husband as people a little bit and they are truly good people and care about their clients. I was pleasantly surprised at her knowledge, her objectives, and her care for my satisfaction. I have say she is by far one of the best I've ever been too. And I have to agree with my wife, a 60 minute massage is not enough. The 90 minute one seemed to fly by at times.
