I had given up after 3 years of having legs like elephants and my foot was 18 inches around. I had seen 2 other vein doctors and was told sorry we can't help you. I said ok, lets do this because you are my last hope. almost 2 years later my legs are back to normal, Lymphedema is under controlled. After 6 years trying to get knee replacements (bone on bone and in a wheelchair because I can't walk the knees are so bad) I have had 7 procedures and with each procedure things got better. The left leg was a struggle and just didn't want to go as good as the right, but we never gave up. Last procedure was done on Dec. 11th, 2025 and my left leg is back to normal now. Lymphedema will never go away but you can control it. I tried everything before I went to Integrated Vascular, Physical therapy, massages, compression boots, exercises, you name it and I got no relief. I can't thank the doctor and staff for all they have done for me. They have changed my life.

They could not have been any more professional but also had a great sense of humor which helps to alleviate some of the apprehension a patient might have. They explained every step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable and informed during the entire procedure. I don't know that you could get any better treatment from anyone or anywhere. Some patients may mistake Dr. Shuster's attitude as harsh (it isn't)but it is just that he is more concerned with your treatment and end results than he is winning any personality prizes. If you treat him with respect he will treat YOU with respect! IT's as simple as that! During that time we didn't feel like we had the kind of care that we were looking for. She needed additional therapy and we chose Family Care Plus Therapy and Wellness, Sachin Desai. I worked with him in his marketing and also knew him as a member of the Burton Chamber of Commerce. He has always told me that he works one on one with each and every one of his patients. I really wanted my mom to have that kind of care. From the first day Sachin told her exactly what to expect and worked with her one on one. He is a very caring person and very thorough. He not only worked on her shoulder he worked with the whole person, reminding her to stand and get her bearings before she takes her first steps, (she has had one knee replacement and will need another in the future). He also would work on her hands, (she has really bad arthritis in them). He worked with her on all of her issues. He was very encouraging, he would say, "Dorothy, I think you can do a few more." She has really improved. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care that we got from Family Care Plus. My mother was very excited when she realized that she could wash under her left arm without using the sponge on the stick. It is the small things in life that we celebrate but this was a big improvement for her. She can now reach over her head without thinking about it. She has come so far. I would recommend Sachin and his staff to anyone who needs to have physical therapy. He is the best. He has a staff of two students but he did all of her therapy one on one.
