The oldest building in Fisk, this bar opened in the late 1920s as a perfect example of how little Prohibition mattered in the state of Missouri. The current owner, who was tending bar, has owned the place for about 55 years. My pictures don't do it justice but I love the woodwork in these old bars. Places like this are living history and I always enjoy finding them. Nothing fancy and nothing on tap, just ice cold domestic cans and bottles.

It's worth the drive to the nearly middle of nowhere (it's literally in the middle of fields) if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere to eat and have a drink. First off it has "bar & grill" in the name of the bar, however they didn't serve food. Secondly the only thing they did have to offer were drinks that were over-priced. The mixed drinks were so weak that I gave up after four of them failed to have any effect on me. I then left and went to an actual bar and grill that didn't sell me sprite and call it a mixed drink. At the end of the day if you enjoy overpriced beer and watered down mixed drinks from a bar & grill that doesn't have a grill, this is the place for you. I gave it one star out of pure pitty.
