The first winter work out was on January 6. Unfortunately I had a tragedy in my family. My wife suddenly passed away. I informed Full Count on January 12 that my son could no longer play because his mother died and it was a physical and financial burden on my family for him to play. Full Count did stop charging my credit card, but refused to reimburse any of the $1100 dollars I was already charged. They only had two winter workouts and they insisted on keeping all the money. I offered to lose the $500 deposit if they gave me back the other $600. They refused to reimburse me at all. beware of this organization, you find out how people really are when something like this happens.

The playground is always a hit with the kids, and there are plenty of open grassy areas for frisbee, kicking a soccer ball, or just spreading out for a picnic. There's also a lot to do here: a splash park (in season), a golf course, bike paths, fishing, tennis, pickleball, and bocce. There are pavilions available for parties, along with grills and picnic tables for a BBQ. One of my favorite spots is the Rose Garden. It wasn't open on this visit (the sign noted an April 15 opening), but peak bloom is in June, and it's worth coming back for. Bottom line: A well-maintained park with something for everyone.

With ticket prices being super reasonable it makes for a great family outing with young kids who have a short attention span. Food and drinks options are plentiful. And we absolutely love the games where the kids get to run the bases. The stadium isn't too big so it's easy to get around and you can explore. Parking is also convenient and is only $5.

There is no shade here and it gets hot mid-day. It is not obvious, but you can park right next to the playground by the bike racks. Next to the playground is a sand volleyball court. Further north there is a baseball field, and a paved walking trail around the park, where you can see a cannon, a gazebo, and the berms created for flood control (Bound Brook has had a hard time with hurricanes in the last several years). One of the largest American flags that you are likely to see proudly flies over this park. The Green Brook which borders the west side of the park is a tributary of the Raritan River and offers good fishing opportunities.

If coming here, try and park over by the Jersey Mike's Arena and they run a shuttle bus from 3 hours prior to game time till 3 hours after. The concourse is very narrow. This creates long lines at most of the food/drink stands. Even a trip to the restrooms is an adventure. I tried making this trip when leaving the stadium early 3rd quarter and lines ran 3 sections over. Oh my :( On a positive note, they have several food trucks about a 5 minute walk from the entrance to wet anyone's appetite.

We brought our son here last year when we noticed they re-did it. The new equipment is well…read moremaintained and much nicer. There's a smaller section for small toddlers (smaller slides, a little house attached to it, etc.) and also a larger section for kids 5+ (larger slides, balance ropes, etc.). Both sections have some overhead coverage but the park itself is not shaded. There's also a separate area where the swings are and also a climbing rock/boulder. There's basketball courts adjacent to the kids playground and a good amount of parking. It's definitely one of the cleaner and newer parks around and would definitely recommend checking it out.
