Lavargna Law - Tony Lavargna and Carrie Lavargna

Myself and my husband, John recently relocated from Maryland. We were in search of a GOOD, HONEST…read morereal estate attorney. Our real estate agent referred us to Lavargna Law. Our initial consultation was with Tony Lavargna......He was pleasant, professional, courteous.....our conversation felt comfortable. He was also very patient in explaining, page by page, the details of everything and told us to feel free to call him if we have questions. We're grateful to have found this amazing law firm and look forward to a long relationship with the firm/Tony. If you're looking for a professional real estate law firm who knows what they're doing and who will treat you with respect & kindness, this is the firm!! WE THANK YOU TONY!!!! Cynthia & John

I don't know what to think about this place. It's not very positive though, and I will certainly…read morenot be taking my business here. The website advertises the services of Carrie Lavargna, Esq. who has "over 40 years of legal experience" and touts her extensive background with specific law reviews and professorships from various esteemed schools. I called to make an appointment to set up our family trust specifically with Ms. Lavargna and gave the secretary all of our information, told her clearly what our needs were and that I was looking forward to meeting with Ms. Lavargna because she had the experience that satisfied our requirements. Here's the thing though, the secretary kept saying things like: I can get you an appointment with "him" and when you sit down with "him"... I stopped her and asked her who is this "him"? The secretary told me that our appointment would be with the SON as Ms. Lavargna had retired or was in the process of retiring or something. The son, Tony, graduated from law school in 2016 and specializes in real estate apparently. That's all great and good but I want a trust Attorney who's had 30+ years of experience and specializes in trusts, not real estate. Even if he's done some wills and trusts, yay for him, I still want a strongly seasoned attorney. It just seemed very strange to me that the girl took all my information, heard what I wanted and then tried to push me in to an appointment with someone else who did not fit the qualifications or the specific expertise that we as clients are going to pay for. It seemed like we were being redlined into dealing with him. The fact that I had to ask the secretary directly who she was pairing me up with and she that didn't offer the information upfront makes me think that maybe the son isn't all that popular and that maybe the only way that he can get business is for the secretary to make appointments with him by leading people to believe that they are meeting with the mother. Why wouldn't she have said something like "Carrie is retiring so is it okay if you meet with her son who is also an attorney?". Kind of bait and switchy, it just felt weird. So yeah the advertised attorney with 40+ years of experience in trusts and lots and lots of accolades, that person doesn't even work there anymore. You would be meeting with a young attorney with limited experience who specializes in real estate deals. If that's what you want that's great, but it's not what we're looking for and they should've let me know instead of trying to steer us into an appointment with someone that clearly did not fit our parameters.

Eight years! So much has happened over that huge spread of time. Good things... Bad things…read more.. Horrible things, but life goes on. John's support and understanding are constants throughout those tumultuous eight years. While his legal practice has grown, John has always, always been there for me. His knowledge and experience have proven to be spot-on time and again. Working with John is one of the best decisions I've made financially, professionally, and personally. I have repeatedly recommended John's services to my closest friends. I do so without hesitation.

The older we get the more it haunts us. We think what if something happens to me and I do not have my affairs in order. My children will be left with a mess. It's happened to many people I know and I don't want that for my family. The Law Offices of John Mangan was recommended to me and I can't tell you how grateful I am for that recommendation! Getting my estate planning done was so easy and has brought me such a sense of peace. Everyone in the office was kind and knowledgeable and the process was actually enjoyable. John has a very gentle way about him and puts you at ease immediately. His staff is experienced and the process was nothing like I imagined. They walk you through everything and you feel so organized and grateful and when you are finished you leave with your beautiful portfolio knowing your family will not have any worries. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I want to refer everyone to them.
