I came to Nancy about 4 years ago when I felt as if I had exhausted my options. I had gone through a very traumatic rape the year before, and was suffering from severe panic attacks, depression, and substance-abuse issues. I had gone to four different therapists who all wanted to tell me how sorry they were, but all seemed to come up empty handed when it came to an actual solution to the issues. I felt angry, broken and, frankly, hopeless. Nancy helped me overcome my panic disorder/PTSD, and just to no longer have to deal with that in my life is an enormous blessing! But in so many more ways, my life is worlds different from what it was. With both Nancy's help and the care of a good psychiatrist that she referred me to, I was able to tackle my Bipolar II issues (that I wasn't even aware that I had!). I got on a stable cocktail of medication, no longer felt the need to self-medicate, and everything started clicking into place.
