I was not happy with the service. I asked that my windshield trim be put back on during the…read more replacement of the windshield. This was not done. It was still laying on the dash. The technician said he was not advised by the front counter to install it. When the technician came out after I talked to them, he was unable to installthe trim, advised that he had never seen trim like this, and said it was aftermarket trim. The truck is a 2012 Dodge, and it came with the trim around the windshield, so now I am left with a 1/2 inch gap across the top of my windshield. If you pull up a new 2012 Dodge Powerwagon you can clearly see that they come with black rubber windshield trim. What will Safelite Auto Glass do about this since the technician at the Scottsbluff store had no knowledge of installing this. I expect a response on this inquiry. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I'd put fingernail polish on the chip because I was afraid it would crack further ... they very kindly told me not to do that again as it can make repair more difficult. These guys are great! Not only did they come to Frederick from Loveland, but in both instances they were able to make same day appointments. They're polite, courteous, friendly, affordable and professional. Do yourself a favor - don't call Safelite - Call Platinum Auto Glass and save yourself a lot of money. If you life outside of the Loveland/Longmont area, they usually will meet customers at the American Furniture Warehouse off i25 and HWY 119 to do their repairs.
