The restroom was clean enough, which is the only reason I will give this place 2 stars. I left without purchasing a snack, as NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE OR CUSTOMER was wearing a mask.... not even a Jacksonville police officer. I was in utter disbelief! Evidently no one in this area has lost a loved one to Covid. Maybe they don't believe the pandemic is even a real thing. Who knows. I'll never stop at this place again.

I really like this convenience store. I'm actually really surprised that I'm the first to review…read moreit. It has been open for a couple of years now. Easy access being located right on a major US HWY. it's open 24/7 and has plenty of fuel pumps. I've never had an instance where the pumps weren't working or questioned the cleanliness of their filters. This store is locally owned by a family that has deep roots in the town. Inside is always clean. There is a large selection of wines both locally sourced as well as large national suppliers. There's also a candy wall of assorted by the lb candy, an ice cream bar that serves blue bell ice cream, and other prepared lunches and snacks. There are also the usual snacks sodas and beer in the cooler. Attached to the convenience store is a Whataburger. This is a busy location and has had some growing pains but that is a separate review. The Whataburger and convenience store share a bathroom. I typically find that the bathroom could stand to have a little attention, but certainly not the worst in town. I actually drive a little out of my way to visit this location. I think it's worth it.

I loved the way it was set up and how clean it is kept. Plenty of good things to say about this store. But I am not going to go into much detail about the good. The problem I had was when I did not see the tire repair kit on the shelf (plenty of places have them) so I walked up to the register where there are two younger people face first into their phones. I could have walked out with whatever I wanted and I do not think they would have seen it if I did so. After I got their attention I asked if they sell tire repair kits. The smaller person asked me what it was and I said it was for repairing a hole in your tire. And I asked again if they sell them and that is when the smaller person looked at me like I was an idiot and with a nasty, NASTY look on their face while they said "No" and continued to just stare at me like I was the dog $#!T on the bottom of her shoe. Maybe my skin color was too pale. I will never step foot back in this store again. And I just bought a place RIGHT down the road. Guess I will be driving to Henderson for my gas and convenience store needs.

Some gas station along our route north look pretty sketch but this one looked decent. We have…read moredriven past this one numerous times over the years without stopping but this time, our gas gage begged us to stop... we're glad we did! We tend to like newer gas stations. They always seem to be cleaner with more options. The restrooms (at least on the women's side) only had 3 stalls. (One of which a woman informed us wasn't flushing). The large handicap stall was locked so we assumed someone was in there... only no one was. One of my children crawled under the door (gulp... public bathroom floor) and unlocked it for us. After using the facilities, why not fill 'em back up? We always look for Icees/Slushies at gas stations. Luckily, this one had Icees! (We we're shocked at how many gas stations we stopped at along our drive did NOT have them... only fountain drinks). Cashier was friendly. We will be making it a point to stop here when we make it to the "fork in the road" on our next trip!

There was a line of about 4 people for the women's restroom, but it moved quickly for having only three stalls. The bathroom was pretty clean but was out of soap. I was tempted to go inside the cold beer cave, instead purchased my first C-Force Artisan Water by Chuck Norris since it was priced about the same as CEFCO branded filtered water. The kiosk to order a freshly made burrito was calling my name and I ignored it and grabbed a small bag of Chex mix. I will stop here again when driving along US-259.

Bathrooms were spotless and the employees were nice even while working on New Year's Eve. I didn't get gas but prices were the same as other places down the road. Turned out to be a place I will look to stop at on my way back for sure... it's about half way.
