She refused to correct the script because it was "taking too much of her time." I had to find a new physician to write appropriate and "legal" scripts the first time. Cost of regular Dr. visit went from $160 to $190, I questioned that and her refusal to code any of my visits as a well man check as insurance will pay for one per year, and she finally coded one as well man and next visit was $100. Will gouge your pocketbook if you let her.

I saw Dr. Thomas last week for my first appointment, and for the first time in YEARS I could sleep on my back, and had no pain doing daily functions!! Aside from making my back feel better, he thoroughly described everything he was doing, and why he was doing it. He also gave me exercises to do at home to keep things aligned. The administration and staff are highly trained, experienced, carding nice, professional, and not to forget they have great bedside manner. Sweet Springs Villa also allows oneself to regain peace. They offer "Outings" where they take you out to bowl, go fishing, go to the park and BBQ and go outside for the community events, and nature walks aswell. It's a small town here in Sweet Springs and the small town friendliness comes with the territory into the building. I highly recommend this facility if you want to heal yourself and grow.

It is worth mentioning that her students that attended our appointments and the birth of my second-born were amazing providers as well! I had just moved back to the area and was 4 months along. Thankfully Janet was close by and could travel to meet me wherever I needed to for our appointments. I knew Janet would be the best midwife because she is qualified, has been present at many births, and has a very confident and reassuring spirit about her. Her sliding scale also really helped my family be able to afford her services. I love that she is so passionate about birth and making it accessible to everyone. I was honestly very nervous about a home birth and I think she knew that. But more so, I was excited and needed someone to ask all of my questions regarding birth and support my beliefs/wants regarding the event itself! Having Janet as my provider was such a relief. I do believe that who you invite into the birthing space matters. Janet was a rock for me and I truly do not think that I could have done with without her. If I have any more children the first person I will call is Janet, it was so great to have her around and she is a true friend.
