Then one of the male employees started kissing and hugging the female customer. Ritually making out in the store. It was disgusting. I called the corporate customer service number and filed a complaint but the person I spoke with could not find this location in the database which I find interesting. I am also reaching out to the CEO to file a complaint. The store is always dirty. They are not following Covid regulations.

The coffee and food station are always clean and well-stocked and the restrooms have always been very clean. This is where hubby and I tend to gas our vehicles, especially if we are headed out of town. We always get a large coffee and we particularly like the columbian dark roast. There are numerous flavored creamers and syrups available as well as sugar. If you prefer flavored coffee blends I would recommend the caramel latte.The chai tea is great too! Located in a very highly populated and traffic area this Thornton's actually is decent sized and does not get too crazy crowded. Inside is usually fairly clean and the workers do a solid job. Overall not a bad Thornton's location by any means. A lot of the time when you have a gas station in a popular area they can get ran down or not taken care of. So kudos to the location here for avoiding that.

New donuts are a joke- we threw away after trying. There's a bunch of donut shops in Louisville but thorntons WAS top 2 or three. Current donuts are terrible (not even donuts in my opinion).

It's tucked off the main road near hotels so it can be missed but near the expressway it's super convenient. It's prices are also the same as two other gas stations further down Blankenbaker. I typically do not wait for a gas pump. The pumps are quick and make it easy to pay by credit card. Plenty of parking spots are available near the entrance if you head inside for a drink, snack or lottery ticket. The lot has been well maintained as well.

Tonight , I was denied service because they already counted the drawer down to $200 and I couldn't purchase a fountain drink for $.94 so for 30 minutes that store cannot and will not accept cash. Tell me how that is acceptable. That store is in a very busy part of Middletown and that store could be the best gas station if it was ran better and the people that worked there actually cared. If I'm hungry and in the mood for junk food, their soft pretzels with nacho cheese or hot dog on the roller is known to walk out the door with me. Thorton's gas prices are competitive and will take care of you for drinks, junk food, candy, coffee and lottery tickets. The store is typically in good shape and the gas pumps are in working order. It's a popular spot though so be careful going in and out of the lot. If you stop by often, sign up for the Rewards card. Self check out lanes are available in addition to 1-2 manned by employees.
