The quicky mart isn't what it used to be. I dont know if the place changed owners but it sucks now. They advertise pizza but apparently their oven is broke. Well it has been broke for a few months now. Got a snickers candy bar and price said $3.19. Cashier rang it up and it was $3.79. I told her it says $3.19. She told me they have not changed price yet. Interesting given the other candy bars were $3.99. Then I ask if I can have singles for change and was told she only has $4 in singles in her register. Ok. You only have $4 left in frawer? Tell me you cant give singles versus a lie. If you are going to lie then lie better than that. So if you want to support a fraudulent convience store that takes advantage of a low SES community then go to this Thorntons and get your abuse on. I read the other reviews. I think this is the same female manager. She lies, is rude, and a poor representative for Thortons. If this is a manager then a feel bad for the employees as I am sure they are treated worse if this is how she treats customers. Thortons needs to do A LOT better. I will go to the Speedway down the street until this managerr/employee is removed. I will be reporting these fraudulent practices to BBB and Thortons HQ. First time coming here, needed a place to grab some food, drinks and some fuel while I was in the area. It's a typical gas station, it's generally busy. Friendly staff with easy access to the streets too. Generally I think it's not the safest place either after sunset as well read more

This store isn't open 24 hrs. I got here around 11:53pm on a Wednesday and was told the clerk shut down at 11pm.

This location (#558) is horrible since the new night mgr was hired. The pumps remain open if you pay at the pump, but the doors to the building are often locked. This morning she literally waited at the door to inform customers as they exited their vehicles to go inside that the "cash registers were updating" . I saw her smile as customers went back to their vehicles frustrated. This lady is really bad for your business. I had to pick a star just so my review would post. It was an early Friday afternoon and I had just finished working. I was about to drive to Dayton to help my daughter and son-in-law move over the weekend. Then I remembered that my car was low on gas. Checking my gas buddy app all I saw was the same high price everywhere except for this station which was $0.30 less per gallon. As it was only a little bit out of my way I decided to drive here. Upon arrival the station looked different than I remembered. I think it has been remodeled recently. This station has an oversized lot with clean new gas pumps. Filling up my tank was quick and easy at the pump using my credit card. It was also easy to get in and out of this location because of the traffic light. I did not go into the store so I can not report on it. You could probably say that Thornton's is a typical convenience store/gas station, and you wouldn't be far off. However, the sleek modern store with wide gas pump lanes is kind of unique. Of course, cleanliness is a big sell for me. Thornton's is spotless inside and out. That's a good thing, of course. The best thing though, is that the gas at this particular location is almost always up to 20 cents per gallon cheaper than any of the next nearest stations. They even beat Kroger unless you have 30 or more cents discount from your loyalty card. And that's sometimes hard to build up. So, filling up at Thornton's can save you as much as $3.00 to $5.00 per tank full. That's nothing to sneeze at. And with current gas prices dropping everywhere, this is a great time to to get a little extra discount and plan some road trips. read more

Im here every wed for dr appt. I come from over by kings island,so ive been going into thortons after dr appt to refill my.owm coffee.mug, ive asked the past two prior weds for theor rewards card and was told they were out,so today i go in get my coffee and what im assuming...is the manager on duty it was 10:15 am Wed. An older woman not tall at all with blonde hair ( dont know her name she had.no name tag) her co worker was Kelly. So she asked if i had reward card i said no been trying for 2 weeks to gey one but they were out..she stopped looked at me and said "what do mean out what we were out for like 4 days" as if to imply i was telki g some huge lie!! And before this the.line was so long it was backed arpund thru the candy isle to drinks...then she answered the phone and didnt even look at us it was like we were all a huge bother then the comments that ive stated all ready ( forgive my typo errors dont have glasses in car sry) the store was messy.cluttered and the trash outside and in was AWFUL!! Look i get it people sucketh for most part but really lady??? If u hate ur job and humans that much go into dog walking or something but stop being a hater!!
