The cafe / restaurant when we went on a wet Tuesday in early January was quiet, perhaps unsurprisingly. Great views over the fields & of the sky even on a grey day made it feel very calm. The shop / bakery / butcher looked very tempting, with an interest & tasty lookong range of interesting local / organic / whole food but as visitors to the area there didn't see much point in stocking up so I can't say more than that. In addition, of particular interest to me, its an Eco building with grey water toilets, turf roof etc. That alone merits a look, no? Before it was just a small shop selling quantity chocolate & ice cream. Now it's a warm inviting establishment with a couple of tables to have tea & coffee then have quality Belgium chocolate. There was some kind of stock car racing shrine on one wall, a football stadium on the other and the place looks like it's never been cleaned or decorated since they opened some considerable time in the past. The Breakfast was just about ok but swimming in grease and presented on a plate that was far to small for the purpose. My recomendation is that unless your starving and everywhere else is closed then just don't do it!
