After several attempts they failed to fix it. I called Poplar Roofing and explained my situation. They came out on a Saturday three guys they worked about an hour and a half replacing everything that was damaged and making sure that it was completely rainproof and laying new shingles and the price for this was zero. Yes they charged me absolutely nothing for the supplies or the labor!!! The jobs requested were completed in a few days with workers staying long hours to get everything…read moreaccomplished. Mystery water leaking into ceilings was found to be old dormers with old windows and holes/rotten wood on the third story. Another ceiling leak was found to be at the corner of house on 2nd story where wood was the issue again along with guttering. New windows were installed in the dormers on the !! third story which required carrying ladders etc. up to the roof. One worker in particular, Robert Furnas, did extra work that was needed such as painting around the windows which had new wood replaced around the windows themselves due to old age and rot. He worked long hours and was especially polite and helpful. Also, gutters were installed where water was rushing over an area that had none. A porch roof had guttering that didn't work well and guttering was redone; hopefully, after a rain I will no longer have a swimming pool up there and the drains/guttering will work efficiently. Thumbs up to the crew who worked in all kinds of weather conditions, sky high areas, and cleaned up debris before they left.
