I didn't mind the 15-20 minute wait time however my brows were threaded terribly. I understand that eyebrows are more like sisters than twins BUT mine were distant cousins when the lady was finished. Even after giving directions, she still could not give me what I asked for. PLUS she had an attitude when I attempted to explain her error. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE AGAIN. Well they messed up mine too. I had gaps left in my eyebrows. I had to go somewhere else to fix it. The place in Gretna in the mall will always get it right. I feel bad to have to write a negative review, but I'm pretty upset after a bad experience at the studio. I felt rushed and like a burden for being there and the person doing my facial threading was pretty incompetent and making excuses for messing up my eyebrows which now others have commented on looking crooked. It's frustrating because I had them grown out so the shape could be done just right and that took time to do. Furthermore, on top of the alignment being off, the length is wrong. Like, how do you mess up someone's face framing that badly and then act like you don't know what 'thick but arched' means?? I'm going to be calling for a full refund incl the tip I felt obligated to leave and be stopping by for them to try to correct the issue, but I am going to be thinking twice about returning. Don't make excuses for sloppy errors and respect your customers' wishes and please keep a clean and hygienic space. It felt like it wasn't well maintained. I'm not one to leave a negative review unless I'm really unhappy with a place or experience, but unfortunately, after reflecting upon it, felt like I need to voice this concern. I have thick eyebrows. They were able to wax my eyebrows and keep them thick. I'm always a little afraid of having a salon make them too thin and they did not disappoint. It's a no frills place though, no fancy decorations but for the price point ($10) and a great job it's definitely worth it. I recommend if you're in the New Orleans or Metairie area. Update: I went there are the girl who waxed my eyebrows carelessly took off a ton of hair. I had to use castor oil and wait for my eyebrows to grow back in and not longer look too thin. read more

I come here regularly since it only costs $15 to get my eyebrows and upper lip done. The location is also extremely convenient since they're located next to the mall and are open during the weekends. My only suggestion is to make note of who is doing your eyebrows. One of the ladies, Mona, is wonderful. Getting my eyebrows done by her has never been painful and she always does a great job. Mona only works on weekdays though and that might not be convenient for everyone. If you can see her, I highly recommend it. However, there is a lady that I've only seen there on the weekends. I try to avoid her as much as possible because when she threads my eyebrows it always extremely painful. Unfortunately, I don't know her name. This past weekend, I had my eyebrows done by her and I noticed that she ended up pulling out my skin on and near my left eyelid. I have small scabs there now. However, this incident will not stop me from coming here. I still think this is an excellent place with reasonable pricing. I'll just avoid coming here on weekends. read more

I wish that I could give this place a negative star review. I called earlier before coming to see if I needed to make an appointment and they said i didnt need to. So I showed up and someone was available to do my eyebrows right away . She was in the middle of a conversation and before she started to do my eyebrows, I told her that I just wanted them cleaned up. I told her I did not want a lot taken off my eyebrows. And told her that I have a scar on my eyebrow so that I cannot have too much come off or it's going to show. Only a few minutes later, she literally took off half of my eyebrows. While doing my eyebrows she was still in her conversation so whenever I tried to tell her anything, she acted like she was listening but I could tell she was not. I won't be back and will be warning every one I know about this place. read more

Please make sure you understand how the $10 deal works because i bought it thinking i could get threading for only $10 and it does not work like that. I asked for my brows to be left big. I left with "angry eyebrows" very very sharp and small in my opinion. I wasnt pleased with the shape. Something about the amount of hair taken off at my arch. Im my opinion, unless you are a very hairy person, threading is not worth the time, pain, and extra few dollars. My friend came along and her eyebrows came out good, but thats because that very sharp brow looks good on her. I think there is just a way that this technician does eyebrows & it works on some & does not on others. read more

I come alllll the way from Uptown for my eyebrows here. I first discovered them at the mall, but it can certainly be a bit awkward to get your eyebrows done in the middle of the shopping center with interested onlookers, so I was thrilled to discover there was an actual shop. I've been doing threading for years so I've always preferred it over waxing, but they do a great job here. They grow unevenly and a little Jack Nicholson-ish so I need them done by someone who knows their stuff. I'm also a licensed esthetician so I usually do them myself. I've had MANY great experiences here! I have never had to wait longer than 5-10 minutes even at their busiest. Most of the ladies are very quick and the pain is minimal. I did have one experience in which the lady doing my brows was pushing down WAY too hard with the thread, causing it to be very painful. She even broke the thread! But other than that one experience I have nothing but good to say about this place. Since then I have made sure to ask the names of the people who do my brows so I can request them when I go in. Mona and Usha are the best! My brows look amazing when I leave after having them do them, and they are very quick and gentle. read more
