I scored some awesome new vintage pieces for my wardrobe and my 100 year old historical home. Some prices seemed very steep, but others are very reasonable. I'm sure it depends on the vendor. The booths here are well maintained and the staff is outstanding - Beth who owns the store is an amazing curator and an amazing business person who operates the place in such a way that it doesn't feel so much like a business and more like a swap meet between good friends. We have been long time customers - more than a decade now and followed her to the "new" location from the site she launched her local business years ago (now)! The store has a wait list for before who want to get in and the ones who come tend to stay. They offer vintage traits and groovy finds with a music room as a bonus full of vinyl and sound machines of all kinds! Dark Star Visuals is a Block Street staple. Anyway, Dark Star is the real deal. This isn't a store that's just trying to cash in on new age. I've bought my fair share of incense, crystals, and beads here over the years. The selection of all of these items is VAST for such a little shop, and the prices are fair. There is also a hodgepodge of other items such as salves, books, apparel, hoops, and greeting cards. I always pop into the store just to browse but always wind up purchasing something. I'm so happy Dark Star is a part of the Block Street neighborhood and hope they continue to be there for many more years.

We always enjoy shopping at 410 Vintage. It consistently has high quality items. Some shops like…read morethis are hit and miss. This shop is top notch. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is varied - but always eclectic, cool, high quality and they seem to specialize in mid century on the furniture. The prices can be high - especially on their furniture - but the pieces are consistently high quality and functional. So from that perspective - it is good value to find quality pieces in excellent condition from whatever era the pieces hail. Having said that, we have found some real steals through the years here too. The consistent quality is what brings us back time after time.
