Great atmosphere, busy, friendly staff but it is one of those places that offer a lot of options and very few are done well. They had an oatmeal stout that was really good and then a rootbeer stout that was one of the worst beers I've had. They had a decent cab sav and then 10 super sweet wines. We love Three Brothers so much that we decided to do the annual pass this year and have made it once a month since January. We always have a great experience and love that there is always something new at one of the stops every time we go. We don't enjoy the sweeter stuff as much so they always let us double up and Stony, so if you do enjoy the sweeter stuff or don't enjoy beer or something you could always double up on the places you love most. The cafe is also shaping up nicely with some new food additions that Noah has been working on, and he keeps the coffee shop pristine with fantastic coffee flowing. read more

This place is the motherload. You can spend a lottttt of time here, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer. They have multiple different wineries/breweries on the property, something for everyone. High scale drier wines, "redneck" barn with sweet wine & sangria, homemade sodas, brewery, slushy spot, coffee & lattes, literally everything. They have a small food area with great bites. The soft pretzel hits the spot after a day of drinking, and the sausage was amazing too. Poor limp Richard white wine, singria, and apple cider slushy were my favorite. The staff was so great. Everyone was helpful and kind. Staff even took our song suggestions so we could dance, and other guests joined along with us. We had an epic time. I can't say enough good things about this place. You checkin which we did with a reservation but there are 5 areas to taste test - including a brewery which would be great if I was into it. I would say if you have a group of men and women - this would be great - men go try beer, women try wine, they both try the sangria wine mix greasemonkey area in the back, etc etc. You can spend ALOT of time here. This place is like a massive compound with plenty of spots to eat, drink and be merry! This is my second time here and while disappointed by the beers on tap this time around, still had a good time. The first time I visited, I bought a ton of beer to bring home since so many were incredible. That said, for me, the beer selection here is hit or miss. There are a couple different wineries to choose from on this property. I went for the Stony Lonesome, which looked like the most traditional one that focused more on just making good wines. It was $15 for one winery, which came with 4 wines to taste of your choice (there are also package discounted deals if you do multiple properties but I didn't have the time). Sadly, I didn't really like any of the wines. I had the (1) 2019 Brut, (2) 2021 zero degree Riesling, (3) 2021 first degree Riesling, and (4) the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc (all $8). 1 and 3 were okay, though 3 was quite sweet. I really didn't like 2 or 4. I also don't love that they just bring you your wine and then walk away. I typically prefer chatting with a host throughout the tasting. That was not this experience. Although they don't allow party limos, the general feel of the property felt very party-like (for instance, they offered wine slushies). If you're focused on a sophisticated tasting to try nice wines, I probably wouldn't come here. read more

I was excited to visit here because they have 3 wineries and a brewery onsite. We figured we would want to visit all locations, so to save money, we bought the pass for $40 per person, rather than $15 per person at each place. We had a nice tasting at the first winery, but when we went to the 2nd one and he said "this is our sweet wine tasting room", we were confused. Turns out, all 3 wineries basically have the same wines, with a few different things on the menu. There is really no reason to go to all 3 wineries, other than each one has a different vibe/atmosphere. The brewery was large and I loved their ciders. There is a cafe attached to the brewery but we didn't end up eating there. Overall, its a fun experience but not worth the $40 pass in my opinion. read more

My sister and I were in the Finger Lakes region for a couple of days and planned some wine tastings. The Three Brothers Winery near Waterloo New York was wonderful. The campus of different wineries was great, all tastings went very well and the staff was very knowledgeable. I would have loved to talked to someone more about the business and history, but our server didn't stick around long enough other than to drop off our flight. The next 2 wineries were all sweet wines and disappointing. Towards the end, we were begging for beer before we got a cavity. The war horse brewery had a WWI theme to commemorate the brothers grandpa, and luckily our tasting tour ended on a good note since we enjoyed all the beers in our flight. read more

We ended up coming here as a back up plan when our boat rental got canceled due to weather. You can do multiple tastings in different rooms or you can pick just one tasting in one room which is what we opted for. Their wines are pretty good. This place is super busy on a Saturday in August. Because there are so many different areas and types of drinks, there's a little bit of something for everyone. I tried a flight of wines and then headed over for one of their ciders. They were also having a dog adoption event while we were there. First off.. WOW!! This place has been on my bucket list for a while now and it was way better than I expected! There are multiple amazing buildings within the complex. Wineries, brewery and even a coffee shop! The decor in each place is amazingly unique. You won't be disappointed. They made each area incredibly unique. You feel like you're in a different universe. You buy chips to get tastings at the different buildings. I recommend getting the multi-tasting pass if you have a few people with you. There was a food truck and also a wine slushie building. I'm not sure if they always have a food truck or not. The drive there was gorgeous. It's a country setting with a view of the lake if you're in the right spot. Plan to spend a few hours there. Three Brothers Winery was a wonderful experience for our start of our Ladies overnight trip. There are several buildings on the property with their own tasting rooms. The selections include wines, ciders and beer plus a cafe. We opted for wine slushies and a nice glass of white wine. The lady helping us, Kim (?), was extremely knowledgeable about the different wines, let our friend have a few tastings until it was narrowed down to just the right selection. She was a great ambassador for the business The building we were in was decorated nicely and had lots of wine, beer and souvenirs for sale. This place was an amazing experience. It was like a little wine/beer resort with so much character and charm. It truly is just something different. From tasting at Stony, having beer at War Horse and taking the short fun hike to Bragg Dare the property is truly an experience you must have. We had food at Iron Heart and enjoyed a pint of Oktoberfest. My father in law enjoyed a free pint and glass as a Vietnam vet. He was treated so kindly with gratitude at every stop. This place was an awesome find. We were in town for a friends wedding and had no clue what to do to kill some time. Found this place mentioned on a couple of websites so decided to check it out. I came to Three Brothers Wineries and Estates for the first time on a Saturday with my friends. This winery is huge! There are three unique wineries and a microbrewery all on one estate. There are different options for tastings. We chose the 5:00pm Option 2, which is a shared pass for $40 each. With this option, we wander the campus and share a flight (with one other person) in 3 unique wineries and War horse Brewing Co. The recommended time is 2-3 hours. We only had 2 hours since the winery closes at 7:00pm, but we were able to complete all the tastings. Thankfully, they don't close exactly at 7pm so we were able to still finish our last tasting at the brewing co. and purchase our items. At each of the wineries and brewing company, we were greeted by a friendly host and brought us to our table or were told to sit anywhere. Menus are already on the table and the service is wonderful. The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines and offer recommendations. All the staff were so very friendly. Each of the wineries and brewing company had a different vibe and even served the wine and beer/cider in a different way. We started with Stony Lonesome Wine Cellars. We were seated by the host and had a view of Seneca Lake and grape vines. Next we went to Passion Feet Wine Barn. This one is connected to the wine store that has all the wines and beers/ciders for purchase. This tasting room also features a housemade Wine Slushie. I didn't like the wine slushy too much. It tasted like robitussin. Each of the wines were named after famous women who made a difference. Third stop was the Bagg Dare Wine Company. The decor of this winery was very interesting. The tasting room sits at the back accessible by an old dirt walking path and water on the side. This menu had very interesting names. This one had most of my favorite wines that I tasted. Last stop was the War Horse Brewing Co. This menu included Custom Ales, Lagers, Seasonal Beers, and house-made Bombshell Hard Ciders & Iron Heart Craft Sodas. I really enjoyed the Bombshell Hard Ciders and even picked up 2 four packs to go. This has to be my favorite winery and estate. I had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back! read more

This is a really late review because I went during summer 2021. Whenever I recommend a winery in upstate NY, it's ALWAYS this one. Traveled up to Geneva from NJ & it was so worth it. I feel like it's the best bang for your buck and there's a drink for absolutely everyone. I love how you can try so many kinds of different kinds of drinks, from wine to cider to beer. Every single staff member was beyond helpful & amazing. I have 0 complaints about this place & can't wait to visit again some day! Three Brothers is a large estate with a very cool setup featuring four different tasting areas- three wine venues and a brewery, so there is something for everyone. At $40 for the tastings, I feel it is a fair value. You receive a flight at each venue- so 4 flights total. Honestly I am giving this place a 3 star rating because of the disgraceful and insulting charcuterie board they have the balls to sell. The board pictured was $30 and featured a small bag of stale crackers, a small serving of salami and pepperoni, a couple cubes of pepperjack cheese that was clearly from a larger block from Walmart or somewhere, and some nuts and fruit. Oh, and a Kit Kat bar because why not. What the hell! Where do you get off charging customers $30 for this? It's a shame this is featured on their already small menu. I feel downright taken advantage of. This felt like a snack box I would hastily make my daughter for a soccer game. read more

Like an adult amusement park, Three Brothers caters to all groups by having different buildings targeting different audiences and themes. We got their famous, wine slushies and enjoyed a Berry Pomegranate Wine Slushie. I wish the Peach-Mango slushie was available, but I bought the slushie packet mix from their store. Three Brothers is the grandest, fanciest winery I've been to- there's plenty of seating with unique, captivating views. You could easily spend a whole day here with friends. Cassidy, Barbara and Gabby are the best. Take their private tour. It is well worth it to be able to go behind the scenes. If you go during the week day the machines may be operating vs. weekends. I can definitely see some people enjoying this, but I didn't love the wines, beer or vibes. Most of the wines were sweet - we did the full tasting and 2/3 of the "wineries" (next door buildings on the same lot) focused on sweet wines. The beers were not so good - a lot of them were interesting flavors, but they all tasted like artificial additives. That being said, there were a TON of people here having a good time! I describe this place as play land for grown ups. There are 3 wineries and one brewery on the premises. There is also a restaurant but that was closed for the season. They do sell their big-ass pretzel for hungry people though! It is HUGE! I like dry wines and in my opinion the wines are just ok. My favorite part was the brewery which also has ciders. To me, it's about the whole experience rather than whether or not their products are stellar. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Each winery has its own flare and own unique experience.
