I've been here over 100 times and it's amazing I will always continue to go back. If you like buffalo I highly suggest the buffalo blu sandwich or if you want a appetizer that's spicy get the buffalo mozzarella sticks they are fat as hell and amazing by all means, Dip in either ranch or blue cheese. Even the buffalo blu sliders for a appetizer are amazing. They also have good salads as well. My husband always gets the TDC burger and it's always to die for. They also have fully loaded nachos that are basically enough for 3 people and share and not even need a dinner after and are really good. I was in a group of 7. It was a Sunday early evening, there were very few patrons there. We were seated right away, but we waited at least 20 minutes before one mixed drink was brought from the bar. The other six of us still had no drinks (soft drinks, water, or tea) . Food and remaining drinks came about 5 minutes later. I had made the mistake of ordering the shrimp po-boy. I asked them to hold the chipotle mayonnaise and opted for regular mayo. But I overlooked the mention of TDC sauce. I have eaten wings at the birthplace of Buffalo wings, the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, so my buffalo wing standard is probably higher than most. The key to delicious wings is fried light and crispy and lightly dipped in the buffalo sauce... not drowned and soggy and vinegary. But please recall I did not order wings, but instead a shrimp po-boy. And I am also a gulf coast gal accustomed to the very best in shrimp po-boys. This shrimp was jumbo-size in ample amount, probably made from pre-battered and frozen (to be expected in a non-coastal area), but so drowned in vinegary, hot wing "TDC" sauce that the batter was slithering off the shrimp and the hoagie bun disentegrating in the sauce. The other 7 at my table could all smell the TDC sauce on my shrimp; its vinegar content quite takes your breath away. Some would call these "wet" versus "dry" style, and may have differing opinion, but when there is so much sauce that one cannot distinguish any taste of the shrimp, it is certainly not my preference. If you want a rather delicious, and way better shrimp po-boy, that has some cajun kick, check out Popeye's Chicken less than a mile away from TDC! I will say that TDC's hamburger looked delicious. Atmosphere at TDC is what one should expect of a young adult sportsbar hangout. Television screens all around, and loud music, so this is NOT the place to go if you want to unwind! Very noisy and one has to practically shout to have any conversation across the table. Younger crowd probably likes that, and sitting in IHOP next door, I have observed the parking lot overflowing with somewhat rowdy young folks (sufficient for police presence) on Saturday nights. Food was not good, bar tender made my lady's drink wrong and the manager, instead of making the situation better said "well you still have to pay for it!" After i paid for the unseasoned food and the drink which was supposed to have fruit in it, I let the manager know that his job is to satisfy the customer not his ego! We come here for lunch since we work close by. I always get wings and they are always hot and fresh! I LOVE their lemon pepper wings. Always seated quick and the girls are always super friendly to me and my coworkers. Best mozzarella sticks ever!!!!! Also love the fried mushrooms with the horseradish sauce. We have been coming to Three Dollar since it opened. We were there again yesterday and it was such a disappoint. The table and chairs in the bar area are so wobbly you can't even set at them without putting something under the legs. The bathroom is also nasty. We used to bring people to the restaurant but we would never do it now. The place needs a face lift in a big way. Won't be going back anytime soon. read more

We love their wings. We come here from another county just for them. We get them hot with a side of extra hot. They have a wide draft beer selection to choose from. The service has always been good. I haven't tried anything besides the wings so I honestly couldn't recommend anything else. So if you want good wings this is the place! read more

Food is just bar food. Great for local hang out. They refused to change the channel to another football game other than the falcons. There are ALOT of tvs. We wanted one TV changed and they refused until the falcons game was over. It is a sports bar. We went after work and we got there at 12:30 our food didn't come out til 12:45. Then 5 minutes later the manager or whomever said "y'all got 10 minutes to finish your food and to close all checks and leave". We barely made a dent in our food. It was still steaming and we were told to leave. Never coming there again. Also how are you going to be the three dollar Cafe and nothing on the menu food wise is three dollars?!. I have a great time anytime me and my crew go here. I love the menu (I'll add a pick of it next time I go) and I love the cold beer. I recommend the fried shrimp. They have a large selection of beer and drinks and a lot of big screen TVs for the game. The deck in the back is big and also has TVs. There's always a lot of folks here on the weekend. read more

The food was good, but make sure you ask about the homemade sauce. My wife got it with the Shrimp Po Boy, and that sauce came on it. It was too spicy for her. No mention on the menu of how spicy it is. Other than that, no problems. I got an order of Fried Pickles and the Three Mile Island burger and enjoyed it with the fries. Food portion is excellent. Poor service. Terrible food. Looked like someone ransacked the place. No one greets you. It wasn't even busy. Most of the place was empty, yet I had to track someone down to get service, and again after the first time I tracked someone down since no one ever checks on you. Ordered a pitcher of beer. Waited 20 mins and never got it. Waitress said it was coming. Waited another 10 mins, still no beer. Waitress comes back and says they are out of the beer I ordered. Why did that take 30 mins? It literally takes 10 seconds to pour a pitcher or figure out that it's out. I left without ordering anything. This place sucks. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had been hearing about Three Dollar Cafe from a few of my friends. On a Sunday evening after work I pulled up the menu on my phone and decided to order something to go. I told my coworkers that I ordered food and they decided that we all should go and dine there. Two of us arrived at the location and were seated and we were waited for the other half of our party to arrive. I went to use the rest room and stopped by the hostess' desk to tell her that I made a to go order but I would be dining in. A few minutes later a waitress approached me with my food bagged up. She then says to me dryly. "You can't eat this in here". I asked if I needed to reorder or if she had to take my order in the back and transfer it to a different plate. She gave me no alternative as she still held my food in hand. I felt like all she wanted me to do was to get up and leave. She stood there at a distance as another server whispered to one another and they finally gave me my food. I was so shocked. We then when we're approached by another female who I could only assume was our server who repeated the same thing, "You can't eat that in here". At this point the coworker that I was with was so turned off that she decided she didn't want to order anything. I reluctantly ordered a drink and the sever never came and checked on us, and only came to the table to put our tab down. The only thing she said to us is "Is your tab ready". I have never had such an AWFUL customer service experience ever. The whole time I was there I felt so uncomfortable. I spoke to the manager on duty and she was very nonchalant and seemed to defend her rude employees. As a restaurant manager in the McDonough area I understand the importance of customer service. This was the worst dine in experience that I have ever had and I will not be returning to this location. read more

Went home on leave from the military and went out to eat with some friends. We got some decent food. But we ordered a pitcher of beer and by the time we got to the end of the pitcher and noticed there was a fly in the pitcher. The manager did nothing about it. They have beer. Pro - they got the food on the plate, eventually. Con - the food on the plate. Menu hasn't been updated in years, the chef can make this pub food blindfolded. Suspect they might have. Three dollar cafe seems to be a staple in Henry County, for some reason. The food is pretty good, but they keep jacking up their prices. The atmosphere is just that of a sports bar, they do have a lot of televisions so catching your favorite team is never an issue there. The biggest problem I have there is the wait times and the service. I've had to wait for a table for a very long time on many occasions just to have to wait even longer (45+ mins) for my food to come out to me. Drinks also take a very long time to come out to you. The wait staff don't seem interested in doing a good job because they seem run down by having to cover such a large area with not a lot of help. read more
