Chai Latte - great flavor and perfect temp!
    LaMecia M.

I'm not a big coffee drinker so while I've been aware of Three Keys Coffee because it is also available in some major retail stores but I don't drink enough coffee to make a purchase of their roasts worth it. I was extremely pleased to get a chai latte today - they also serve matcha lattes if that's your thing. Staff was awesome. They checked in on my milk preference since I didn't give one initially. And they worked quickly and were friendly. The chai latte had a great taste and what I loved best was that I could consume it immediately. No burning of the tongue and spoiling my experience. I finished it quicker than I expected and enjoyed the lingering flavor. There were several people grabbing coffee even mid-day so not sure how long lines can get but it's definitely worth a try in you're in the downtown area.

Three key cafe The cafe was open at 9 on a Saturday, but during weekdays its open by 7 though. Located inside the historic Finn Hall building, this coffee shop is at the very entrance. They supposedly get a small batch of 6 bagels freshly made ... and he had two remaining....hmmm.....maybe possible considering the crowd in downtown on a Saturday is very limited. He knew what we meant exactly when we mentioned cafe au latte and he custom made the coffees for us with a shot of espresso, cream and milk. I got mine with almond milk. We also got that 'limited' bagel with cream cheese. Both were good. If you are in the area, it should definitely be on your schedule to stop by the Finn Hall.

Had a doppio espresso and they served it with a side of bubbly water. Very nice. Definitely come here vs. going to Starbucks across the street if you want a quality cup of coffee or espresso drink. Service was quick and efficient and the barista was friendly.

Ordered a bag online after having a double espresso (different beans) and cold brew at this location. Great espresso!

A coffee bar kiosk in what we found to be a quiet little cafeteria. We originally arrived at this location desiring some Southern Comfort from Carol Kay's. I quickly and presumedly dismissed the bar. It was unassuming...like any other coffee bar with the toys and showy-ness, but likely lacking the beans and experienced staff. Nevertheless, I said "what the hell" and walked over to get a shot of espresso...I was mistaken, and glad to be wrong. I'm still learning how I like my espresso. I can't really comment on the espresso other than I very much enjoyed it; enough to order a bag of beans to pull shots at home. With the little I know, I enjoyed the rich and dark espresso which went well with our heavy breakfast. I also purchased a cold brew to-go. I love a fresh medium or dark roast cold brew. The current trend is old light roasts with the acridly acidic and "fruity" flavor profile. Most cold brews I get are as such. However, Three Keys did a wonderful job brewing a solid medium roast cold brew that has the rich and smooth dark chocolatey goodness that I prefer. I brew my own at home and thats what I'm always shooting for. Job well done by Three Keys Coffee. The highlight, even more than the spectacular coffee, the staff! They were absolutely a pleasure to converse with. I didn't feel belittled or put down. They were humble yet very passionate and informative. Not your typical arrogant coffee snob/aficionado behind the bar. Lovingly infatuated with the world of coffee, and wanting to share with anyone who will listen. I'm a bit of a coffee snob myself, always in a mood to listen, learn and talk coffee. Thanks guys for the insight, delicious espresso and reviving cold brew.

This place is awesome. Got five drinks for a little over $20 which was such a steal. Plus they were delicious. Not hot enough to burn your tongue but still warm enough to enjoy pretty flowers are always enjoyed so overall 9.58 / 10 Your new adoptee - Deez :P

Good coffee 10/10 I'm picky with my coffee and this place smacks.

Good parking Good coffee Great customer service 10/10 will be coming back here. (Barista was hot)

Great coffee, friendly folks. We were looking for an alternative to the hotel coffee bar and found this nearby. Located within the Finn food hall, this was very accessible and great quality coffee. Highly recommend!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

Served Iced) - I think their description of "fresh and crisp" was very accurate. I think the cinnamon complimented the matcha well. I wouldn't have thought to put apple cinnamon with matcha. It's feels like matcha meets autumn to me. It's fun I like it. - The Snapshot (A craft coffee float, with house made Esplanade coffee cola and custom black cherry ice cream from Cheaters Creamery. Served in house only and Iced.) - I was expecting something like an affogato when we ordered the drink for some reason but it definitely more of a coke float. They nailed it honestly. I didn't taste any coffee flavor in the few sips I had but my boyfriend said he was able to taste it. The drink comes with a fun Polaroid photo which is fun. Honestly a very unique retro summer vibe drink. - Breakfast Burrito - Honestly pretty decent. - Nutella Banana Bread - Unfortunately their oven was down so we couldn't get it toasted/warm but I think that would've been significantly better. It satisfied my craving. Definitely would consider coming back to try other fun seasonal drinks. In terms of seating, they have a large table in the front of the store, a few seats along the window that is more counter style, and a few tables in the back. From what I saw it looks like they had a decent amount of outlets and USB plugs available. Parking lot is pretty small though. They share a parking lot with a pottery studio and a little clothing store (that's also connected to the coffee shop). Not sure what the street parking situation is. We've come a couple times and would decide to go in or not based on the parking situation.

The Keepsake was a cold brew shandy with esplanade and Valencia orange. It almost didn't taste like coffee to me since it had a strong fruity taste with a citrusy cold foam on top, which made it a sweet treat for the summer. The Chantilly was creamy and sweet --it's a cold brew with cognac cream and black lava salt. They had lots of tables indoors for seating, although it does get crowded during peak hours. They have a small parking lot or you can find parking on the surrounding streets.

As I wanted to lose weight, however, I transitioned to quad Americanos w/ a splash of milk and 1 stevia. Still very tasty. It reminds me of a Starbucks canned coffee (that was LOW sugar) way back in the day that they stopped making (2007-2009). Obviously, there is no comparison w/ re: to quality but I did want to mention. The staff here have always been friendly, particularly Hilary, who I believe is at the Sugarland location now. I recently watched a YouTube video on a guy that travels across cities to try the best coffee and he ranked the pour over at Blendin very high. I need to try that one day! Side note - coming here and having a weekly routine has helped me on my grief journey. Thanks Blendin. You know who it is. It's Young Flaaave!
