They got EVERYTHING a parent doesn't want for their autistic/adhd (and ect) child!! even if you explain to them, the ESE staff won't listen!! They'll just rush you in and out of meetings :*) There were only a few teachers that cared and understood me. But the others, like Yknow, ESE STAFF- called ME over dramatic for speaking up about MY IEP!!!! so guys, don't choose this school. The good grades and the positive ratings are just a way to manipulate you |:*T the school mentally drained me, the counselors just say the same advice over n over so basically you can't get help, I had a school therapist, BARLEY saw her, They never cared for bullying victims, Think assault is a whole joke and decide to ignore it, And they sadly give bullies a good name.

Let's start with how everything is practically still brand new. As a relatively young college all the buildings and classrooms are top notch and new. As someone who went to a college that has been around much longer, FGCU has the nicest facilities I've seen. And that's not just for the student athletes or the privileged, that is for everyone. You also have a private beach on campus with a boat for rent. Once again something that is almost unparalleled with other college campuses. Next you have the unique location of being sandwiched between two amazing cities, Forty Myers and Naples. The amount of money has such an impact on the surrounding areas it's amazing. Everywhere you go you have the best shopping and dining anyone could possibly ask for. All within 15 minutes of campus and everywhere is pretty much a friendly neighborhood. Lastly the academics here are getting better and will continue to improve. FGCU is still young and relatively easy compared to other big schools but I'm sure this will change in the coming years. This is a unique college with a pretty awesome experience waiting for someone to come give it a whirl.

They care more about their appearances than funding their arts and natural sciences. Was no place to live for him. 2 miles from campus no shuttle off campus. Due to the lack of transportation and no dorms he transferred out and is very happy in normal housing close to classes. They did nothing to help with his housing. They wasted years of his time.
