The Breakfast Stack is still my current favourite with poached eggs, smashed avo on sourdough, rocket, tomato salsa, Parmesan and balsamic. I always add an extra egg or mushies. The Big Breakfast is still H's favourite and is a generous serve of eggs, smoked bacon, pork chipolatas, hash brown, tomato & rocket served with toast.

The dead cute Queenslander is lovely and open with a great park / glimpse of sea view outlook. As it's high on the bluff there's also a decent breeze. I went on a public holiday, so had to pay a surcharge but that's pretty standard. I shared a vegie fry up and pancakes with a friend, the eggs were soft poached (yay!) and the mushrooms and spinach were garlicky and tasty. Hash browns were also a nice touch. The pancakes were fluffy with a giant ball of ice cream. Shame the syrup was completely fake, but for less than $10 a serve what do you expect?

The menu is a little expensive for what I would consider to be bistro style food. We settled on the beer battered Fish and Chips for twenty-one bucks a plate. It was well presented and tasted fresh but it didn't stand out from any other fish and chip plate I have had in the past. The customer service was friendly but in a superficial kind of way, I didn't feel like my experience was really all that important to them. It was nice to be able to walk off the stodgy fish and chips along the boardwalk afterwards. Good option if all the fish and chip shops are closed or too busy.
