The customer service at the Airport location is poor at best. The pickup experience is not engaging at all, more like the employee lecturing me on what I can and cannot do with the vehicle.
Additionally, the rates and discounts at the location are once again, poor at best. Even when I rent as a BlueChip member, and add my spouse, the location charged me $10 a day for the extra driver, when it is a known benefit of the program that spouses can drive for free. I was supposed to get a call from the customer service department about waiving the fee, and never did.
Finally, during my last rental experience, I rented a mid-size and received a compact and when I inquired, I was told it was all they had, and that there would be no credit for the downgrade. Not the kind of customer service one would expect.
There is no doubt that they have a monopoly on any rentals at the airport, and so if you must use them, I suppose do so...but don't expect much by way of customer service or in terms of competitive rates.
