For some reason thrifty is really popular in Mexico. They have their own stores everywhere similar to like a Baskin-Robbins would have in the US.
Prices are somewhat expensive for Mexican standards, But still cheaper than going to thrifty or Rite Aid in the US in buying the same amount of scoops.
The three scoops waffle cone is 85 Pesos roughly around $4.50. They have the standard flavors that only thrifty has like chocolate brownie, chocolate malted crunch, and pistachio.
So every time I'm at Plaza rio, or any other plaza, we always stop by and grab some ice cream. It's worth stopping by to have a familiar dessert. read more
