Other people on their reviews have said the same thing there is a place in Maryland (Pharmkent Wellness ) that sells the same quality if not better for farrrrr more for cheaper. It was a very sterile environment like a doctor's office and not very welcoming. Customers basically gave ID, signed in and sat down without much discussion. You are not able to view items you may consider purchasing. In fact you choose from a pamphlet, sit and wait to be called where you pay before you see your product! Then directed to the Exit! Very unwelcoming. Try the dispensary on Concord Pike across from Sullivans. Very welcoming, pleasant and all items for sale are on display. Everyone had an upbeat pleasant attitude and welcomed all questions. I'd make the drive from Newark to Concord Pine for the welcoming experience and the large variety of products. I have very strong feelings about First State Compassion Center that have run the gamut. But overall, after two years, I give them a 4 star rating based on the strength of their customer service and recent improvements in product quality. Their staff has been consistently helpful. For the most part, if someone doesn't have an answer to a question, they'll ask someone else who does. I prefer this over BS any day! The product quality seems pretty good to me, but that's based on someone who's never seen another dispensary! The flower bags are now fully heat sealed which helps protect the product from drying out. The pricing is objectively high compared to other states with medical marijuana programs based on online pricing and availability websites for other dispensaries. There are several reasons for the high prices, however understanding the cause does nothing to help the patients. Unfortunately, prescription opioids are still *MUCH* cheaper in Delaware than medical marijuana. A frequent complaint is that it's rare to see anything greater than 1/8 ounce quantities. Since the larger quantities are discounted, it's more expensive to buy the ever-present grams and eighths. Availability *may* improve, but I suspect that will be months away. It feels like the plant experts in the back are continually trying to make products available for patients and do a good job! One problem in Delaware, the demand currently far exceeds the supply. When they're busy, its frustrating, but I know the staff isn't dragging their feet. They work through the crowd eventually. Sometimes products on the price board won't be available by the time you reach the sales counter. On the other hand, they sometimes put different products out that weren't on the price board when you walked in. In other words, the inventory changes *very* frequently. Call before you come to see if they have certain items in stock. So why four stars? Because *every* time I've contacted FSCC via email, FB Messenger or phone with a question, suggestion or complaint, I've gotten a follow-up and/or a resolution. Very disappointing. The people there truly want to help but when we first started going we were given incorrect information and in turn purchased incorrect product. That only happened once however I have never been able to get the same "medication" each time I've gone. They make suggestions of what "might" work. I have finally found what works for me and they never have it in. There's no way to reserve it. You're driving into a bad part of town just to be told what you need is not available. Between Columbia Care having mediocre product that's never available anyway, Fresh who only sells one size fits all, most patients like myself are left with First State. Which is fine, great in fact. So I guess what I'm having trouble understanding is how the other two dispensaries at the very least allow you to pre-order ahead of time. It makes an ASTRONOMICAL difference being able to know ahead of time that the exact medicine that you need is available. Not only that, but being able to pick it up without having to wait for 30+ mins during this pandemic, which is not only efficient, but also a lot safer. I know that patients can call ahead to see what is available - but taking the time, making the trip to you, and then finding out what you need isn't there is unacceptable. No patient should ever have to deal with that. Lastly, I am in complete shock that you have gotten rid of curbside pick-up altogether. Patients should at the very least have the option for either curbside or to come inside. I do not understand why such a big facility was so quick to end curbside, yet Fresh and Columbia are still being smart and doing it. Some of us have compromised immune systems and do not feel comfortable exposing ourselves to multiple people right now. Please make these changes to your facilities as soon as possible. I never want to see multiple patients standing outside for 30 mins in 70+ degree weather with canes and walkers, as I did last week. All patients deserve an equal opportunity to obtain their medicine. read more

Usually they are very great and reasonable but with the COVID going around it seems like they've haired a few new people and I'm a regular, as you may know there is only THREE dispensaries in Delaware today there was some traffic and we got there at 4:02 and they refused to give us my pickup because they closed at 4 o'clock, mind you there was cars still in line but I couldn't get my order so now I have to go to DC. Good location,they had a pretty good selection when I went,don't have anything over eighths when I went as a new patient for orientation it was a smooth process every employee was kind and they tried to help as much as possible.
