Seems like a lot of knowledge lacking here. The Dr I saw, which is actually a PA, recommended getting my estrogen down to near zero. Now I'm not scholastically trained in HRT but have done plenty of research on the subject. Getting your E2 levels to zero would be devastating, much like if they were over say 50pg/ml. I did get the pellets placed 1yr ago and then 6 mos ago. Paid $2k ($183/mos) which after doing research after the placement, realized I had been taken advantage of. There are plenty of other Dr's and endocrinologists doing this work for us men. Please please do some homework and for gods sake, DONT use these clowns. For under $100/mos I can get better treatment with a smile and real knowledge somewhere else. I've found that somewhere else and won't be recommending this place ever again. I feel bad for and have contacted anyone I could that I had told about NuMale to do your homework. There are wayyyyyy better and more options than one might think. I'm sure they'll try to counter my post with the old, we don't have a patient with that name here. Well I'm not putting my name on this post, that makes zero sense. Buyer beware is all I'm saying. Very satisfied with my new provider and not looking back. Don't make the mistake I made 1 yr ago, if it's not right our gut usually tells us so. I came in based on the recommendation of friends who had visited other NuMale clinics, and I'm so glad I did. I met with Dr. Asandra and he went over a comprehensive list of questions. I explained how I was feeling and he went over the possible reasons why. I'm not a fan of doctors, but I can say that he was very easy to talk to, walked me through the process, and answered all my questions. In fact, everyone working at the clinic was pretty nice, and I did not feel rushed at all to make a decision. I walked out of there feeling great and actually glad I came in. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in feeling better and feeling like they are 20 years old again. I definitely recommend making an appointment and just checking it out.

I've seen high turnover of staffing, rude Telehealth workers, constant changing of processes, ditching apps, trying new apps and also utilizing different pharmaceutical suppliers. Now to schedule your quarterly telehealth appointment it's takes a week to be seen, once seen a refill takes another 3 business days (5 including weekend) to be written, once received and paid for through the pharmaceutical supplier (Village Lane Apothecary) terrible website, take your payment and it's been 4 days now and STILL hasn't been shipped. After all these delays I go to the Greenwood Village Low T Center and they want to charge $70 to hold me over for another week because of their delays. Charging $70 for a shot when you pay $105 for four shot. Yeah this company is ridiculous. I'll be on the hunt to change providers.

I cannot recommend Dr. Matthew Brown or RIA based on my experience…read more From the beginning, I made it very clear that I have an extensive family history of terminal cancer of all ages and I had already accumulated significant radiation exposure within the year following my pulmonary AVM diagnosis. I have lost multiple close family members to cancer, so every additional CT scan carries an enormous emotional burden for me, since just ONE CT scan raises your cancer risk. I repeatedly explained this and fiercely advocated for myself, but my concerns were never taken seriously. Instead, they were consistently dismissed. My first pulmonary AVM embolization performed by Dr. Brown ultimately failed. I later learned that recanalization after embolization is relatively uncommon (less than 5%), and that failure led to additional testing, an additional radiation angiogram procedure, and another CT scan that would've been avoided had the initial treatment been successful. The worst part came afterward. I requested a follow-up bubble study in lieu of a CT, which showed only a very small late right-to-left shunt--approximately 10 late bubbles. I read on my own that tiny shunts like that aren't treatable and carry no significant risk. I pleaded with Dr. Brown not to order another CT scan and asked that alternatives be considered because of my recent radiation history, given this was such a tiny shunt. Those concerns were ignored. Being told that "there's radiation everywhere" after expressing my fears about cumulative radiation exposure wasn't reassuring--it was dismissive. I was also told without the CT, he wouldn't provide me with medical clearance for future procedures. After seeking a second opinion at Anschutz, I was told that, in my case, the final CT scan was not necessary. The physician reviewed published literature with me indicating that fewer than 30 late bubbles are not associated with any significant neurological risk. He also explained that my request of just a bubble study echocardiogram would have been more than sufficient, rather than another CT scan--an option that was never given to me despite my repeated concerns about radiation exposure. The physician at Anschutz also provided me with medical clearance for future procedures and said the bubble study was enough for that (when Dr. Brown said it wasn't and required the unnecessary CT). Learning afterward that there was published evidence supporting a different approach left me wondering why that evidence was never discussed with me, or why Dr. Brown never read it, or even researched it before ordering another CT scan knowing I was so against it. Now I live with the fear that I underwent additional radiation exposure that wasn't even necessary. No one can tell me whether it will ever affect my health, but I am the one who has to carry that uncertainty for the rest of my life. As the mother of three young children under five years old, that fear is overwhelming. I want to be here for them and watch them grow up. This wasn't just simply disagreeing about a treatment plan--it was feeling that my concerns were dismissed rather than discussed. Shared decision-making means listening to patients, especially when they come prepared and ask informed questions. I don't think it's an unreasonable request of patients that current medical evidence and relevant studies be considered and kept up with by their physician. That was not my experience. This experience permanently damaged my trust in Dr. Brown and RIA. I'm transferring all of my care to Anschutz, and I only wish I had done so before undergoing multiple angiograms and CT scans, including the ones deemed unnecessary. If you have HHT, suspected HHT, or any type of arteriovenous malformation (AVM), I strongly encourage you to seek care at Anschutz instead of RIA. Anschutz will listen to you and your concerns. If you do stay with RIA, at least secure a second opinion before agreeing to repeated imaging or major treatment decisions. I wish I had trusted my instincts sooner. Patients deserve physicians who listen, respect informed questions, stay current on pertinent medical literature, and practice genuine shared decision-making. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Dr. Matthew Brown or RIA. I deserved better. My children deserved better for their mom. Please continue advocating for yourself. Just because it didn't work for me, doesn't mean you should stop trying. They will have to hear us eventually. -Samantha R

The entire staff at Centrum Surgical Center is AMAZING! !…read more I was greeted instantly at the desk and given documents to sign. My surgery was scheduled at 10:15A but because they were running ahead of schedule, I was in the recovery room before 10:15A. Paul was my nurse who prepped me and he talked me through everything and had awesome bedside manner. I was also greeted by the Anesthesiologist who introduced herself and asked me what surgeries I have had in the past and if there were complications. Ian rolled me into the operating room and helped me transfer onto thw operating table along. The Anesthesiologist (sorry, I forgot her name) was talking me through the sedation. Per the hubs, my tonsillectomy was only 20 minutes and then I was in recovery for an hour before going home. The nurse in the recovery room (also forgot her name) was awesome and gave me a popsicle and water. She also wheeled me down to the cars. I also received a phone call from Centrum this morning asking me how I feel and offered their assistance if I needed anything.

My spouse recently had major surgery at UCHealth Cherry Creek, which was also her very first…read moresurgery and exposure to general anesthesia. While some aspects of her care were excellent, our overall experience was deeply distressing due to the conduct of certain post‑operative nursing staff. First, I want to acknowledge the providers who delivered outstanding care. Dr. Bouchard was excellent: clear, thorough, and compassionate in both pre‑operative and post‑operative communication. The attending resident was likewise excellent, demonstrating strong clinical skill and a respectful bedside manner. These physicians gave us confidence in the procedure and took our concerns seriously. Unfortunately, the quality of care in the post‑operative area did not reflect the same standard. After surgery, my spouse was slow to wake from anesthesia and in excruciating pain. While she was still groggy and doing her best to communicate her pain, one of the nurses was noticeably impatient, dismissive, and appeared focused on the fact that it was near closing time rather than on my spouse's condition. When adjusting the bed, this nurse repeatedly moved the head of the bed up and down very quickly, causing my spouse to scream in pain. There was no apparent attempt to pause, slow down, or modify her approach in response to my spouse's obvious distress. A second nurse was also rude and unhelpful until one of the anesthesiologist helped my wife. At a time when my spouse was barely emerging from anesthesia and struggling with severe pain, this nurse asked, "I don't know what else to do for you, what else is going to help you?" The burden was effectively placed on a post‑operative patient, rather than the nurse using her clinical expertise to assess, problem‑solve, and advocate for appropriate pain management and supportive measures. It was especially alarming that this nurse then suggested that my spouse might need to be transported by ambulance and admitted to a hospital, framed in a way that felt more like a threat or a way to move her out of the recovery area than a thoughtful clinical recommendation. From a patient‑centered care and safety perspective, this experience was unacceptable. My spouse was vulnerable - just out of surgery, in severe pain, and slow to wake from anesthesia, yet she was made to feel like an inconvenience. The tone, rushing, lack of empathy, and apparent prioritization of closing time over patient comfort and safety were completely inconsistent with the standard of compassionate care we expected from UCHealth. If we had known this was how the post‑operative nursing care would be handled, we would have requested a different facility. Patients undergoing major surgery, especially for the first time, deserve nurses who are clinically competent, patient, and empathetic, and who respond to pain and delayed emergence from anesthesia with professionalism and care - not frustration, dismissiveness, or implied pressure to leave because it is near closing time. I would strongly encourage UCHealth to review staffing, training, and culture in the post‑operative area at this location, to ensure that other patients and families do not have to endure the same experience.

They miss spelled my name on an order and it took so many calls and had to call the hr office, since no one was helping me. I still don't have my new replacement machine due to their lack of response and incompetence. It's so frustrating and negligent. I left UcHealth Anchutz because of the same lack of basic customer service. I plan to work with my ent for my sleep treatment. My ent office is smaller and will never go to another large organization. Worst customer service. Hey doctors...you are only as good as your support staff.
