Honestly I was disgusted that I was grabbed like that. I did not give the woman permission to grab my wrist. After I explained to her that I am a adult she let go of me. Now I see why the new kids hate Elkins... I graduated from Elkins about 9 years ago, but didn't understand why my little brother hates that place. But now I have a inkling that it's because the staff treats students with aggression starting at 6AM to 3PM, 5 days a week! It's disheartening. The next time I see that RUDE woman who grabbed me I'll be sure to ask for her name. (She was maybe African American, about 5 foot 8-10 inches. Black hair. I felt helpless so we moved. Not only did they not honor sending her to alternative they welcomed her with open arms and treated her good. The staff is so friendly and understanding. The entrance is not too bad and the front staff are pretty helpful. There also seems to be good amount of parking for visitor/guests.

Over the past two school years, several students and parents have become concerned about repeated unethical behavior that may have affected academic fairness and opportunities for other students. The concerns reported include: Alleged cheating during exams beginning in the 2024 school year. Use of AI tools to complete projects where such tools were reportedly prohibited. Alleged use of a cell phone during STAAR testing in 2025, including claims that test questions were photographed and shared with others. Claims that recommendation letters from teachers could be obtained in exchange for money. Many students have expressed frustration and disappointment because they believe these actions may have unfairly impacted rankings, academic recognition, and admissions opportunities. These concerns have reportedly been brought to the attention of school administration previously, but parents and students feel the matter has not been fully addressed. We respectfully request that Fort Bend ISD conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into these allegations to ensure fairness, accountability, and integrity within the school system. Our intention is not to target any individual unfairly, but to protect the integrity of the academic environment and ensure equal opportunities for all students.

Great school! My children have attended private school (that got too expensive), public school…read more(that did not meet our expectations) and then we found Logos. It is a University Model school which offers classes on T/Th for K - 6th grade and M/W/F for 7th - 12th. The students do homework assignments prepared by their teachers on their "home" days. Parents facilitate at home much like they would with homework from a traditional school. It is great to get all their work done early afternoon and have the evenings for activities and family. Logos offers competitive programs in most sports (football, cheer, soccer, tennis, swim, baseball, volleyball, basketball, golf and track)

This user has zero friends and only 4 reviews. I reported the review and Yelps response was that the review has been previously reported. Hmmmm.... The user states that Emery Weiner only accepts wealthy white Jewish students which is 100% false. Two weekends ago I had the pleasure of attending a Big Brother Big Sister event and met a lovely African American young man who is in the BBBS program. The boy comes from a low income family and is in HS at Emery and is excelling! In fact my cousin attended the school several years ago and was offered the a scholarship. The school enrolls students and hires teacher of all walks of life and income background. As for the school, the teachers are highly qualified and the facility is top notch. The school also offers West U little league and other sports leagues to use their grounds. The school is extremely welcoming to the Houston community as a whole. From what I understand is 100% of the seniors are college bound which is fantastic!

Best school ever . Awesome teachers and a beautiful campus. Nurturing environment. Send your kids.read more
