The staff are great. They will put an item by for you, and you can pay gradually. The shop is comfortable to be in with a sofa near the door where I sat, waiting for my friend, and then waiting to pay.

What I'm saying is that whilst the clothes here are stylish and good quality you pay through the nose for them. My top, £25 in the sale was obviously double that and would not have been worth it in my eyes. However the staff are positive and charming, and your surroundings comfortable. I normally hate trying on clothes, but there was plenty of room in each changing area, and I didn't feel exposed when I came out.

But this is because all the walls and surfaces are filled with different t-shirts, shoes, jackets, bags, accessories, etc. The service was great from start to finish; friendly and helpful. All the shoes are expensive in my opinion. The shop is quite small, and I have heard the owner ask a woman with a buggy to leave, because the buggy was in the way. It also appears that the owner is the arbiter of who is 'good enough' to come into her shop. This shop produces no positive reaction from me.

The quality of the goods are what you'd expect from Royal Doulton and such like. My quarrel is with how they treat their potential customers. I last went in to ask about a beautiful statuette in the window. I could have just afforded it. The owner was adamant that she couldn't sell it to me because it would spoil her window display! The other thing that bugged me was that I felt like something dirty stuck to the bottom of her shoe from the way I was spoken to.
