A very sweet and friendly environment. Service is excellent. I tried the beef shawarma and it is decent. The meat pie was yummy too. Keep in Mind that there is a bakery here so a lot of the pastries are home made. The taste of the food is good but the portions are tiny for a $15-$18 plate in my opinion. The quality is decent but for the price tag of $18 it shouldn't be served in a tiny plastic to go container. Price for a can of soda is $3 which is high in my books. Lastly, I think this place use flavor enhancer in their cooking so one may get tired after eating lol.

Coming from a long line of family members that own and operate restaurants, it's always a pleasure for me to have a great dining experience because I appreciate all the hard work that goes into making it happen! Time is the best Mediterranean food that I've had in New England. I had the lamb kebabs and it was cooked to perfection with a wonderful marinade and seasoning. My mother had the chicken kebab platter and again the chicken was cooked perfect and it was the most flavorful chicken kebab I've ever had. She also had a spinach pie And it was done homemade perfectly. They also have wonderful selection of desserts that are all homemade as well. The restaurant is very clean and immaculate. The staff all being family are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. And it's a very cozy place. I definitely recommend you experience this for yourself!

This was a very clean version of halal with not too many spices. It's nice to have just grilled chicken, some white rice, a healthy salad (with a lovely homemade dressing) and hummus with pita. Not overkill on making anything too unique but the taste is out of this world. I can't say enough about how fresh the ingredients are. As of today, Thyme's hummus is the best hummus I've had in my 27 years on this planet. I wish the tahini sauce came with the meal because with the plate, tahini sauce (delicious and had to be homemade) and garlic dip (I can't bare the bold flavor of it no matter how many times I try it, so it was a waste of money) came to $16. Too expensive for the portion size. So I'll skip the sauces next time to save a few bucks. Times are tough but I still want to support small businesses and I'm glad I took the ride and drove to Thyme! I'll be back!

Lots of vegan and gluten free options. The cauliflower platter was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and accommodated our large group. I will recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning again soon.

Desserts with that European flare and perfect texture. Moist and delicious!

The Family Platter #2 is also a fantastic option if you want to sample a bit of everything. Our favorites were the baba ghannouj, layered kibbee, and the super refreshing tabouli. We ended the meal with the Katayef Ashta, a pancake filled with sweet cream that reminded me of ricotta, and it was the perfect finish. We can't wait to come back!

Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. It's clearly a fine dining restaurant with reasonable prices. I am a fan of Lebanese food, but this place elevated the experience. The server mentioned that the lentil soup was amazing and he was correct. The soup was seasoned with rich vibrant Mediterranean spices. The grains in the soup added extra texture and elevated the humble soup. The kibbeh balls were fantastic. I have had kibbeh balls before, but these were the best: crispy on the outside and moist and perfectly seasoned ground meat on the inside. There were pine nuts and minced onions in the kibbeh that elevated the dish. Then came the kaftah kebabs with grilled vegetables. Those vegetables were grilled nicely. The ground beef and lamb kaftah kebabs were spectacular. So meaty! These kebabs didn't have fillers. They were beautifully seasoned, grilled nicely and moist on the inside. What a delight! I recommend this establishment.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. When we first arrived, we noticed the chefs in the kitchen wearing bonnets, which came across as unprofessional and not what we expected given the reputation of the place. After being seated, we waited nearly 10 minutes without any service and had to flag someone down just to take our order. We ordered oxtails with eggs on cocoa bread with cheese, along with jerk chicken with French toast. When the food came out, the order was incorrect--they brought jerk chicken with waffles instead. My mother-in-law politely explained the mistake to the waitress (a middle-aged woman), but instead of fixing it right away, the waitress began going back and forth with her, insisting that waffles were what we ordered. I stepped in to clarify that we had definitely ordered French toast, but even after that, the situation wasn't handled properly. When the dish came back, it was still wrong, and the waitress had an attitude the entire time. While we were there, we also noticed that other customers didn't seem satisfied. Several plates around us looked barely touched. The man sitting next to us ordered the same oxtails with eggs on cocoa bread and cheese and didn't eat his meal at all before leaving, which raised even more concerns about the food quality. To make matters worse, as we were getting ready to leave, I tried to place a to-go order. At that point, the waitress was still going back and forth with my mother-in-law. She then took our plate and said she wasn't going to deal with this and refused to take our order altogether, which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, the service was rude, the order was mishandled, and the experience did not live up to the expectations set by the reviews. Between the long wait, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, I would not recommend coming here.

I went with the grape leaves as my side and grabbed a Smartwater. Simple and a solid value. Let's start with the pita, because I'm a texture nut and this thing was perfect, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The gyro itself was packed, literally spilling out with filling, and was super flavorful. I'll admit I went in expecting the typical lamb/beef, so the pork caught me off guard. Turns out after doing some reading on the inter-webs, pork is actually the authentic Greek preparation and the lamb/beef is the more Turkish/American take on it. Either way, one bite and I was a convert. The grape leaves were everything you want them to be; briny, punchy, and packed with filling. No complaints there. As for the ambiance, another reviewer put it best: "I wouldn't take my first date here." Fair enough. But for a quick, no-fuss lunch? It was perfect. Between 12 and 1 this place was absolutely jamming, with barely a seat to spare, which should tell you something. Not to mention I heard the staff greet many people by name. We got the Yemeni fried chicken as an entree ($22) and pumpkin babaganouj, fried brussel sprouts, and Dukkah beets as apps. Food quality? except for the Yemeni fried chicken which was a little dry, it was excellent. I also thought the chicken was significantly overpriced for what you got. So did the wife. The appetizers were a little more appropriately priced. Except, the Dukkah beets. Take a look at my photo and judge for yourself. It looks like they ran low on beets, but still decided to serve them anyway - in a much smaller portion. Coincidentally, they did the same thing with another dish at A La Esh, another restaurant they own. It would not have affected my rating if they simply said to me the appetizer was unavailable, or that they were short on beets and therefore wouldn't recommend the Dukkah beets. I overlooked this mistake once at A La Esh, but if you do it a second time it looks like a pattern. Again, talented, innovative chef - not so talented restaurant manager. If they had said they ran out of Dukkah beets and priced the food a little more appropriately, you would see five stars on the top line instead of three.
