I reached out to Will Rentschler's agency upon my recent move to Florida to transfer my auto insurance and secure homeowners insurance for a home I was purchasing in Pensacola. I was quoted rates and given a binder for the home closing. All of this was done several weeks before the close date. I was notified 24 hours before the closing that underwriting would not write the policy...this is AFTER all of the specifics regarding the property had been laid out for the agent with plenty of lead time. The closing came close to not happening due to the negligence of the agent...after securing insurance with another company, I spoke with a national agent for State Farm who informed me that State Farm no longer wrote homeowners in our area, she even suggested I report them to the State Insurance Commission. Since this incident at the end of last year, I have received 4 bills from this agency for homeowners insurance which they said they could not write. I called to speak with Will Rentschler, left messages, and have never received a call back. Just received another bill yesterday... Extremely unprofessional and either willingly misleading or unknowledgeable.

I went there in order to sign the paperwork and get the check State Farm sent them for me so that I could start looking for a new car. I left there dropping Progressive as my insurer and becoming a client of theirs. Bethany informed me that they also do car loans and ended up getting me the financing I needed at a better rate than I had hoped for. While waiting on the loan approval, she introduced me to Grey, who went over my employer sponsored life and disability benefits. He helped me identify shortcomings in the coverage I had, and helped me rectify it by finding an amount that I was comfortable with, without trying to oversell. These 2 people, the receptionist, and everyone else I encountered during my 2 visits there helped me to realize that it doesn't always have to be a chore or dreaded experience when dealing with insurance agents. They created a loyal, happy, customer, that is actually excited about the changes made that day.

So sad to see an old company like this cancel eroded with such poor customer service.
