I remember walking in the door after I'd passed my driving test years ago, and seeing the disbelief…read moreon the faces of my parents. I've never been an amazing driver, and 6 years of not driving at all between living in Canada and moving to the UK left me wondering if I even remembered how to do it. I'd been managing on public transport, but the time came to get a car, sparking a panic about actually driving it. After multiple failed attempts to book lessons with other companies, I stumbled across Result. I emailed about lessons on a Saturday, saying I was in work and couldn't take calls, so they texted me back. Point number one in their favour! I asked for a refresher lesson the next Saturday, and they said fine, and that the instructor would text me to arrange the time. Within an hour, Abdul had texted and arranged to meet the next Saturday afternoon. He was very encouraging, even via text. Abdul arrived slightly early (more brownie points) and we went to a quiet area to begin. He ran over some basics before starting and then off we went. He's super calm, and I learned things I had never been taught before, and found that my clutch control was better than ever after just half the lesson! I asked if we could do more, and he said we'd do a bit of parking in lesson 2. He again found a time that suited me, and arrived early. Again, I learned new (and better) ways of doing things. Added bonuses were getting advice on which car to buy, and what to avoid (so useful) and great tips and tricks to make driving life easier. I had read about driving schools trying to upsell and tell people they needed lots of lessons, but he was the opposite and told me I'll be fine! I really respect that integrity, and am so grateful for all the increased confidence he gave me. The standard rate is £22/hr and it's worth every penny. Thanks to Abdul and Results for taking a huge weight off my shoulders. Thoroughly recommend, without hesitation!

Appallingly sad discrimination I must admit that it hurts my…read morefeelings, deeply to suffer discrimination like this in UK, specially when I'm the 1st saying that UK isn't as bad as the other countries in Europe. I call the 1st time on the 30th of September, explain my situation, that I have my driving test on the 31st of October. Couldn't make the payment because I was abroad. Call the 2nd time on the 3rd of October, to make the payment, the person I've spoken with, clearly does not care if she was ruining my future, once I've booked the test months ago and was struggling to find an available instructor, and we all know how hard it has been to find a test date this year, says there's nothing that could be done because of the "company policies", even when there's plenty of time until the test. I've called again and basically begged for someone to find me an instructor as this is very important to me. Still this person says no, and now is treating me like I'm an uneducated person. Really hurtful. I asked her if it had anything to do with the fact that I'm not British. She keeps repeating that it's the company's policy. Okay. I then ask my partner (who's British) to call on behalf of his daughter. Guess what? They found an instructor for "her". I'm glad the calls are recorded. If the owners care, even if just a little bit, you'll train your staff or have actions taken towards the company you're employing to deal with the correspondence, to treat everyone EQUALLY! Now, it's up to each of you to tell me, if the fact that I am not British is or not the reason I didn't get an instructor? Right. Appalling. Sad. Discrimination
