My family, boyfriend and I had high hopes going into the store. But not only was the manager on his phone the whole time, he accused my sisters and brother of stealing. From the start, he was following one of my sisters around and when she got uncomfortable and took my other sister and brother out of the store, he followed them. He said he thought he saw one of them pocket something but the moment my brother said that they didn't steal and that he could check the cameras, he backed off and offered free bracelets to us as compensation. This place truly deserves 0 stars. I do not recommend to anyone. Avoid going to this store. read more

If you are a tourist visiting Rehoboth Beach spend your money here. One of the only store that fights for tourist against the "year round residents." The government in Rehoboth gladly accepts the money tourism brings to the city, but does everything in their power to stick it to us. The latest shortsighted example, the canopy ban. If I could give a negative star I would. I wouldn't go back. The man heard me wrong on the decal and got upset with me. He did however go get the right decal but the wrong size sweatshirt. I also witnessed a small child get her eye poked by a display that way eye length for a child. The parent let the female know what had happened and she rolled her eyes and after he walked away she says whys that my problem! Wow! read more

Here's my experience at the Tidal Rave location at 20644 Coastal Highway -- same owners. I wish I had read the posted reviews before venturing into this store! I was in search of an umbrella and chair. Then, I should have been warned off by an employee (turned out to be the store's owner), who was put out by my request for help. In the end, I selected a fairly pricey set ($84), and headed for the beach. Alas, after the first use, the umbrella was out of commission: the plastic tip had detached from the bottom of the aluminum pole. So I returned to the store. The cashier referred me to the manager, taking a cig break out front. She gave me the treatment. "Listen, lady, we don't babysit umbrellas, obviously this umbrella was not used properly, it is damaged, I will not take it back." I replied that as a nurse, I took care of a lot of equipment, every workday. The manager had a response to that too: "I hate nurses." Okay, this not-very-ethical outfit got my money. Unlike an earlier reviewer, at least my beach chair hasn't broken (yet). I can only echo his advice, stay away from this place. read more

Great Place to get just about anything you need for your beach vacation. They have everything from buckets and shovels for the kids to Swimsuits and NFL Gear. It seems to be the only place in-town Rehoboth that sells cigarettes and tobacco accessories. Great Prices read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. When we arrived in Rehoboth Beach last week we needed to purchase some beach chairs and a beach umbrella. We visited the Costal HWY location , which has a large selection of everything beach related....but beware!!! They do not accept returns and they are very hesitant to exchange anything without calling it in first. We bought two beach chairs...for $40 bucks each and an umbrella also for $40 ( highway robbery). When we got to the beach....literally 15 minutes later the carry strap on one of the charts broke and the other chair's right arm rest broke off as soon as I sat down....I know what your thinking, lay off the Thrashers french fries man...not the case the chairs are just junk. After spending the day at the beach with the fam I attempted to bring these awful works of craftsmanship back but no dice. I was informed by the 12 year old minimum wage employee that rolled her eyes when I asked if I could get a couple of new chairs, that..."we don't do that." After arguing with another employee, I got one chair out of them but had to take the chair with the broken strap back with me. He didn't see the issue as his words were " its just a strap man." I explained to this twink to the best of my ability that when you spend $40 on something, you expect it to last longer than 14 minutes. When he grows up he will understand.
