I have never had an issue at this car wash. Vacuum cleaners have always been maintained well. Trash cans have never been full. The car wash itself has always worked. They have two stalls that accept credit cards. I believe two stalls that you need coins for and 1 stall with just a vacuum and one stall for detailing only. The manager was there today while I was trying to wash my car. You get 14 minutes for $5 with the credit card. Should be enough, but my car was OVERDUE. he was walking around and heard me sigh when it ran out while I was rinsing. He walked up, said no problem, and gave me 4 more minutes. You may think he lost money because I would have had to pay for 14 more minutes. (I don't carry coins). But he actually assured repeat business. Now I will go out of my way to come here. Even came back with a second car a couple of hours later. Thank you.

I called them to get the Ultimate package, very courteous and respectful,…read morefor a car that Had been sitting for a couple years so mind you it had a little bit more dirt than your everyday car. It wasn't anything extreme and for $164 I thought I was gonna get a polished gem. We had a appointment for 11:30, texted me told me they were gonna be late I was fine with that. When they did finally show up it was just two people in what looked like there personal vehicle with like some basic over the counter vacuum and product's, like they had a idea one day to be detailers and went to Walmart to get everything. You know what they say don't judge a book by its cover so I didn't let that deter me (hindsight go if with your gut next time). Well I periodically looked out the window and there's was only ever one person working at any given time out of the two person crew (husband and wife?). About three hours later I look out the window and see they are cleaning up so I go out to see the finished product. Well the first thing I noticed is he started chatting me right up while his wife cleaned up everything. I finally broke away and took a peek at the trunk and it was still all dirty, he had a built in excuse and rushed off to grab a broom to clean it because she had already put up the vacuum. I was so preoccupied with that and paying them by the time I did a thorough walk-through on the car I feel like I was deceived duped and taken advantage of, what really was the icing on the cake was him trying to pitch me on a $100 detail job for the car to make it really shine if I was gonna try to sell it right before they left. Tell me what did I pay $165 for? I still have dirty door/trunk jams, he clearly didn't do the paint detailing like they advertised or what I was led to believe was gonna happen, didn't touch the head liner, still dirt/dirty where the shifter is, dirty where you adjust the height of the seat belt, I could keep going but I think you're getting the picture. What I received equates to what you would normally get if you went to one of these carwashes you see on the side of the road and to be honest I think I'd have more faith in them to get the job done then j & b detailing and I would of saved at least $100 too. Moral of the story is double check before you hand over that amount of money for a half assed job. I had to wait a week to post because I was still seething with anger.

The guy, Marvin, brought a couple of young teenagers with him, and I can only assume they did a lot of the work, because the detail work (which is what I was pauing for in the first place) is negligible at best. All this for $150, which I was encouraged to pay in cash so I could avoid sales tax and the credit card usage fee. Also, 12 hours later, no receipt with the service details on it, as promised. Never again.

At the time I was trying to sell a car and needed a good cleaning service so I thought of it as a welcome savings. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. Both my girlfriend and I made numerous attempts to schedule an appointment but were told it would be weeks before they could do anything or that they simply couldn't accept new appointments. On top of not being available the woman that answered the phone was always very rude. Eventually, I gave up and went to a different detailing service. After a few months I thought I would try again but this time I couldn't get anyone to even answer the phone. I called a dozen times over a period of two weeks and each time the call went to voicemail. I left a couple of messages (mentioning the Groupon each time) but they never once called back. It became a joke to call, leave a voicemail, then wager on whether or not I would receive return a call. I always won that bet because I put my money on never hearing from them. At this point the Groupon has expired but it is still worth a credit for face value. I do not intend to ever patronize this business so that is just money lost. There are too many other good detail shops in the midlands to waste my time with All Star's terrible customer service.
