Alterations by Amber Dry Cleaners is located on the cross-streets of Farm/Durango, off of the Durango/95 exit. It's located in a small shopping plaza shared by other local businesses such as Dairy Queen, 7-Eleven, Little Caesars and much more. The parking is a little tough here and the spots are limited. If you can avoid coming to this location during rush hour times, that would be recommended. The spots are small and the parking lot is difficult to get in/out of. The Alterations by Amber Dry Cleaners is relatively small. There is one register. I brought in both pants and the gentleman said that the pants would be ready in 5 business days. There wasn't a rush on the order, so, I was good with that turn-around. The [2] pair of pants hemming cost $10.00. Both of my work pants came out great. I've had the pants now for several weeks now and the hemming hasn't come undone yet. Price is great and there was quick customer service! If I need hemming work to be done again, I'll return here in the future.

Upon first impression, communication appeared to be a little challenging, however, my request was literally hemming up 2-3 inches on 4 pairs of jeans for work. Price is pretty reasonable here compared to several other places I've gone to in the past. Typically, in the last decade or so, the cost of alterations for me have surpassed the cost of the pants they are doing the work on which I find insane but what can you do? This place charged me $14 a pair. It took them exactly a week to complete the job which is a little long. Generally, should take 4-5 days. I would plan ahead, just in case. The quality of work appears to be solid with the stitch intact. I recommend. In the DC area where I'm from, I can get 3 shirts laundered for that price. Maybe this place does great work on high-end items; I don't know.
