My wife and I ordered the BBQ Ribs and wings to share and our daughter ordered the Scotch Fillit. Ribs can be pretty ordinary, but they were amazing. Melt in your mouth and super tasty. My daughter loved her steak. I tried a bit and it was the best we had had after eating in restaurants, pubs and fancy, on our 3 week holiday, and this was far and away the best. The deserts were also great. The staff were charming country good people and could not have been more helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Decor a bit rustic but clean, comfortable, seemingly unlimited hot water with plenty of pressure, and hosts to make you feel like you are the only guest, both in the office and in the adjoining Settlers Restaurant, which, by the way, has bread and butter pudding as a permanent staple on the menu. Don't stay anywhere else if you are visiting this part of Tasmania. You won't find any better value for money.
