They barked their presentation at us as if we were insubordinate young children and they were nuns. The sparking swill we were presented at the end was fuzzy sugar water with a bitter finish. Absolutely undrinkable for a champagne fanatic. I've toured dozens of wineries all over the world, this was unquestionably the worst experience given the rudeness, draconian policies, and terrible product. If you have any understanding of wine, don't waste your time. I suggest visiting the Valley Guadalupe. They produce exceptional product there including brut style sparkling that would surprise and delight any fan of Champagne. The wineries in that region are stunning and the people are gracious and welcoming.

There was also an excellent selection of meats and cheeses--perfect if you're putting together a charcuterie board. I was even able to find my lemon ginger tea, which is part of my morning routine. While most people did not speak English, communication was easy with the help of Google Translate. The next day I returned with more time to stroll through the aisles, and I was even more impressed. The store has an outstanding selection of food, meats, and produce. I was pleasantly surprised to see a small section of Asian ingredients, which meant I could easily make my Chinese breakfast soups in the morning. On that second visit I had filled my cart with quite a bit of food. As I headed toward a regular checkout lane, a gentleman approached, guided my cart over to the self-checkout area, and began scanning and bagging my groceries for me.
