have not drank any of it

stopped by for the first time and received a half full cup of a large coffee. I did not ask for foam so not sure why it was not full to the top

This drink was so good! Refreshing, tastes just like a mazapan, definitely hit the spot. The service was friendly, only waited a few minutes for my drink. Establishment was clean, lots of tables inside and outside.

I came back to this Tierra Mia after a not-so-great experience a few months before, but I decided to give them a second chance and I'm actually really glad I did. Love seeing improvement. The presentation was way better this time, and my frappe was filled to the TOP. Like... so full it was literally leaking. Not a fan of being sticky, but honestly the frappes at Tierra Mia are kind of worth it You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors, but my top recommendations are and will always be the pistachio frappe, coco loco frappe, and salted caramel. Also, do not skip the butter croissant or tres leches muffin! This location is cute, clean, and the workers were much friendlier and very polite during my recent visit. Will definitely be returning!

Friendly staff. Small coffee shop and just a few parking spots behind the shop. The coffee was delicious. Salted caramel cold brew is so so so good!

Tierra Mia specifically the east LA location has been home to so many drowsy eyed early mornings, pit stop to walk our puppies and late night art seshys. I suggest using their mobile order cuz this spot packs out fast. Sweet treats are always tasty and love that they have power outlets inside to dock up and work. Staff is always sweet and love the vibe inside.

    Matcha horchata latte

Even on a day like New Years, Tierra Mia Coffee still had a ton of foot traffic coming in and out of this corner shop. When stepping inside, you'd be greeted with a ton of decor ranging from the history of Spanish culture to fun little holiday decorations. There were also promotions for seasonal options front and center for customers to glance upon. For me, although the baked goods out on display looked tasty, I was recommended the matcha horchata latte that a lot of locals seemed to have ordered at the same time as well. And it was definitely all eyes on the staff with people waiting in line from inside out through the back, patiently standing for their names to be called. When driving to this location, you can't miss it as it's the only bright teal shop near Cal State LA though the parking is atrocious so I would recommend parking either nearby in the residential streets or to park further and just make the way here on foot. This coffee stop definitely made as much use as possible for a good balance and it's more on the fault of the ground lay-work, especially since it's sort of slanted down towards a hill. This location definitely feels like a local hot spot with many people of variable ages coming in and ordering, from young students to even construction workers as well as meemaws and paws hanging outside. As this is incredibly close by to the university as well, I wouldn't be surprised if people had to endure through long waits just to get a cup of joe and you would have to imagine there's a fine balance of getting through with orders and the quality of the drink. Being able to see the staff behind the counter making my drink to being able to taste it, this customer service is accommodating to the best abilities as they can provide while juggling a whole ton of other orders on top of that.

It was my first time trying Tierra Mia and I ordered the lavender latte with oat milk. Since it's near csula, there were students there ordering drinks or studying on their laptop. Parking lot it small and wait was not too long. I noticed they also serve Porto's cheese roll and guava strudel. The latte was like heaven, I still think about it to this day. Friendly service and clear spacious area.

Wide variety of beverage choices- grandson enjoyed a dragon fruit lemonade and said it was really good. I enjoyed a chai tea latte. Yummy pastry choices available- indoor and outdoor seating- small parking lot and street parking. Welcoming staff- reasonable prices.

    chai ???

horchata latte is good, chai latte is just milk ?? how y'all look me in the face and say that's a chai

I enjoyed my visit here today. The coffee tasted great. The baristas were nice. The shop was very clean and the prices were reasonable! There is a parking lot in the back as well as plenty of street parking. Look forward to my next visit to try other items on the menu.

The line at this time 850 am on Sunday morning isn't so long and there's enough workers to attend and make everything flow quicker and smoothly. Beautiful place - it's a little chilly in here though but it's clean and spacious The pastries look delicious so I got a butter croissant- soo goood!

If you love REAL COFFEE, then STOP BY!!! Hands down my all time FAVORITE location!! Every single time family or friends are over, I manage to bring them to grab a treat. The staff is great, always efficient on time and ordering even with a long line, and the atmosphere is always clean, welcoming and diverse. Seriously, ever since I discovered the MAGIC of their coffee, saying I'm OBSESSED is an understatement. (Seriously though, ask my husband just how much I've ordered here, in person AND mobile ordering , which thank God for the mobile app and that this is one of the few locations that's online ordering capable) If I order on the app, then it's always on the counter by the time I get there to pick it up (mind you, I live 3 minutes away). I've even ordered while waiting for a parking spot and it was ready by the time I found one. Unless I'm in a hurry or the line inside is long, I'll order mine through the app. The only downside if you can order any pastries online (that I know of and believe me IVE TRIED) the good thing is that if I have the time to go inside and grab one, they're always so fresh. Pastries I've had: Chocolate & butter croissants Tres Leches, chocolate, banana nut, churro muffins Mexican chocolate cupcakes (those are seasonal during Christmas but literally the BEST chocolate cupcakes I've ever had and vow to get them every year until I die I'm probably biased because I'm true and loyal to my iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and I can NEVER resist getting one of the butter croissants to pair it with. I will try some other items so I can expand my tastebuds I know I can always count on my usual (which by now, the staff probably expects my orders and takes turns making it for me )

Mazapan Frappe w/ extra shot of espresso
    Matthew Y.

Okay, this is 5 freaking stars for me. I love me some mazapan, and I'm surprised no other coffee shops I've been to have adopted it. I ordered the Mazapan Frappe w/ a shot of espresso. This was the best drink I've tried or at least top 3 coffee in my life. You get a good taste of the Mazapan, but not overwhelming and then the coffee comes through. I'm not sure, but I really feel that extra shot was the difference maker. You taste both the coffee and the mazapan and it worked extremely well together. I'm too afraid to look at the calories, but I'm sure it's still worth it, once in a while. I'd recommend anyone that likes mazapan to give it a shot.

I arrived just on time to see Brit.'s live performance, which was relaxing and soulful. The crowd and ambience of the space meshed perfectly with the vibes of the event. I ordered the cantaloupe milk with added matcha. The cream top was faintly sweet and the matcha mixed into the milk really balanced out the sweet melon flavor. This was actually the only thing I tried that evening, but I'd love to return to taste their other options. Overall, the atmosphere and drink were 10/10 for me. I love a chill, nostalgic cafe ~ they really don't exist out here, so I'm excited to see the Japanese inspiration making its way into LA.

Walking in, I loved the aesthetic design of the open air cafe. Loved the antique vibes. There was a variety of different seating to choose from such as bar seating and cushioned couches which was nice. Going down the list of menu items I had: - Cantaloupe Milk CT with Matcha: Creamy and sweet cantaloupe flavor. Matcha was solid, but wished there was more of it. - Egg Sando: Pretty good. Lots of egg filling, but wish it was more flavorful. Bread also didn't hold the egg filling well. - Melon Soda Float: Yummy dessert. Ice wasn't necessary since there was ice cream in the cup already. I did some work from here and my experience was relatively decent. There were ample outlets and the couch seating was comfortable. The music could get a bit loud though, but I didn't mind. Only downside was the wifi wasn't great so I had to use my hotspot. This would be better as a place to socialize. Definitely a cafe worth checking out in the Chinatown area!

I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! There is truly nothing like a great business ran by a great person and you can tell there's so much intention put into this concept. Highly, highly recommend and I could not sing praises more!
