The ongoing pain was ignored despite my attempts to have it addressed. Also, certain health information was never shared with me. It was only until I requested my records that I saw what was happening. I showed these records to my nutritionist. She taught me more about my health from these records than my OB/GYN. Lastly, don't bother to ask for help with any FMLA paperwork. They do not want to help protect your career, or legally protect your absences. The irony is that in order to get decent health insurance to pay for these surgeries is through an employer. I have asked for help with FMLA paperwork for my three surgeries, and I was intentionally ignored, intentionally dismissed, and I have been yelled at. For appointments following my requests for FMLA paperwork I have been intentionally mistreated and robbed of my dignity by all staff member. I believe it to be retaliation for my request of FMLA paperwork.

I've been going to Tifton Woman's Center the past three years. Until recently (the past four…read moremonths), I was satisfied with the care I received. My last follow up appt was scheduled with the incorrect provider which resulted in a delay before I was able to be seen. My last two scheduled appts were canceled by the practice with little notice. Rescheduling resulted in a five week longer wait to be seen, as well as, an additional day I had to take off of work. The front office staff are very pleasant; however, communication seems to be lacking between providers, office/scheduling staff and patient. The practice manager (Jessica) shows little regard or empathy for the patients. Based on the amount of miscommunication from the practice and lack of regard from the staff of how it affects a patient's health/schedule (living out of town and traveling to appt, taking off of work, etc), and interaction with the practice manager, I became uncomfortable with the level of care received and transferred my records to a different practice. I would not recommend Tifton Woman's Center.
