I've ordered nachos several times through a delivery service for about a year, and tonight indulged and had nachos delivered. Omg, disgusting! First of all, way too much food for the box, which would be a good thing if edible, soggy, cold, limp, very little other than steamed chips. Came here yesterday for lunch on a break from work. It was really busy for a Wednesday and lunchtime, in my opinion, but nonetheless I thought it was cool to see it busy. I walked in and the place was a little dirty. I figured it was because of the turnover of people and minimal staff, but it definitely caught my eye. I went up to the counter to place my order. I ordered a steak burrito and a coke. I had planned to eat in the restaurant, paid my bill, and quickly took a seat. I parked at a high top in the corner because it was just me and came to realize that the table was dirty. I took it upon myself to wipe it down before taking a seat. I opened up my company to do some work and watched as more people came in. Maybe 15 minutes later my food came. The chips were fresh and well salted. The burrito itself was really good, too! It was huge and had a lot of steak in it. The jalapenos, as always, are spicy - which I like. Overall, decent experience at this establishment and a good place to take a seat on your lunch break. read more

5/30/2025 Ordered food for me family about 4:45 pm , the restaurant was not busy , received my food 35 minutes later Cold, one of the orders was not what I ordered, so the manager came out to try and do what right for us "the customer" all we wanted was to redo the order so we could eat a hot meal , but she " the manager " didn't have an answer for the cold food, but that I've had it on me table for 30 minutes when the register girl / server brought our food 35+ minutes..... so the manager just refunded 2 of the 3 meals we ordered, "whatever" maybe they were having a bad day but still consistency and quality fell short. I didn't get the server name or the manager's name, but "it is what it is" unfortunately, I won't be attending this place anymore. Sad for them how the economies is going now, I'm sure they won't last. read more

Stopped here on the drive home from Orlando to grab a quick lunch that wasn't fast food. We came on a Thursday, and they featured a deal for $7.99 bowl or burrito with chips and a drink. I added a side of salsa, making my entire total just less than $20 for two people! They give you a good amount of food and they don't skimp on the protein. My only request for further orders would be just slightly less beans. They also had a huge sauce bar, with hot sauces ranging from sissy to burn-your-taste-buds-off. It was Tijuana Tuesdaze and you can't go wrong with the two tacos, chips, and drink for $6. Hence that's what I got ;) The place has indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the breeze outside while waiting for our food. One of the staff members brought our food to us when it was ready. The soft tacos with chicken, cheese, and sour cream was fresh and plentiful. I can never get enough of the chips and queso available here. It's like a secret addiction that will never be filled...lol. The friendly and quick service by the staff didn't go unnoticed. An hour later and it was time to get on the road again. Having been to other locations in south Florida, when I came upon TFlats I figured I'd grab lunch. I left thinking I was ripped off. $13.50 for $.18 of lunch. It was made quickly and tasted ok. The chicken was little tiny dried chunks and not very much of it at all. I asked for no chips, they still put them in there. If they hadn't the box in which my lunch came would have been empty. I got a soft taco with beef and my hubby got one with steak. Fresh and delicious!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're dining in, they bring it to your table. When we got ours, we realized we didn't order salsa or queso. The gentleman that brought our order kindly went back and got some for us. No charge! Finding this place was a little hard as the parking lots around it were very confusing but once we got there, the food was great. We got a chicken burrito, steak quesadilla, steak flauta, and some wings. All the food was fresh and came with plenty of chips. Wide selection of sauces for you to select. It's been a few years since I've been to Tijuana flats. We used to go there every week for taco Tuesday when i worked in that area. So today i ventured from across town to try the queso crunch burrito. To be honest i wasn't expecting much, but boy was i pleasantly surprised! I placed my order by phone and picked up in store and brought back home for dinner. The staff was prompt, friendly and courteous and took time to fill me in on all the options of this new fabulous dish. When i got home, my wife and i were surprised at the size of the burrito and how is wonderful flavors filled the air. After grace we dug in and the first bite was like a volcano of flavors erupting in our palates. Wow was all i could think and say. Each bite was more delicious then the next. The food was fresh as were the chips and queso, even though it was a half hour drive back home. Have no fear if ordering for delivery or pick up. It was still warm and tasty. It does pack a little punch if spice but nothing too overbearing. Just the right amount, imho, to wake up your taste buds and make them dance with pleasure. Had lunch there yesterday. Had been to TF a couple of times down in Orlando and was not impressed, but here in Ocala it had the highest Yelp rating of any restaurant for lunch, so we gave it a another chance. We got our food to go. It was two fish tacos and one beef taco with an appetizer of chips with guacamole, salsa, and nacho cheese. The best part of the meal was the chips and cheese. Everything else was begging for salt-even the salsa! We were eating it picnic style outside and so we had no salt available. The tacos were okay and the guacamole looked great and had a nice texture, but again, needed salt. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff pleasant. The food was packed up nicely and delivered to us promptly. I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

We haven't visited in awhile. Inside looked a little worse for wear. We go to the counter to order and there is no menu posted and none available. we ask for menus and made our selections. We then went over to check out the salsas and found that more were missing than were available. Sadly two of the three of us like a mild salsa. They only available choice was a very sweet sauce that tasted like duck sauce at a Chinese restaurant. our food is served one burrito had sauce on it and the other didn't. The server took it back and corrected it. We ask if a mild sauce was available and she checked and said not now. So two of us ate chips without salsa. This was not the Mexican food restaurant we were expecting, but it was surprisingly tasty. They have menus at the door, which we completely missed when we went in. A lovely server brought us an appetizer that included 3 specialty salsas. Their house salsa was the best one, but the other mango and sweet onion salsa was also very good. Has a more fast-food feel rather than formal dining, but it worked out fine. Wife, kiddo and I got chimichangas which were good. The other kIddo got a Mexican pizza with cheese, chicken, and lettuce and said it was great. We'll be back when in a time crunch, but missed the chips and queso served at the more traditional restaurants. Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner, though. The service at this Tijuana can't be beat. There are guys and gals walking around tending to everyone's needs and offering to get refills, etc. The food is a little better than typical fast food Tex Mex and the portions are certainly large. One steak nachos are was enough for me and my daughter to share and we both were stuffed. For the size of portions the prices weren't bad at all. The parking lot is rather limited directly in front of the restaurant but there's ample parking nearby. It's also quite a hit if a hassle to get back out of the parking lot and on to 200. All in all, still a good experience and I was most definitely impressed with the level of service we received. read more

This location was super busy but very quick. The tables and restroom were clean. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The food was great and they didn't skimp on anything because they were trying to get every ones food out. My local tijuana flats has a lot to learn from this staff. Came here very hungry on a Sunday afternoon after the lunch rush. Staff was cheerful, chatty and friendly. We were greeted by Leah, who explained the menu to us. Order at the counter and pay, and then your food is brought to your table. Food came up quickly, less than 10 minutes, and really generous sized portions for the price. We had chipotle chicken nachos and a veggie burrito. We ordered an extra side of guacamole which was refilled for free by Shelby, one of the friendly and attentive staff members. All of the food was fresh and extremely tasty! I am not a fan of chain restaurants, the staff explained that this is one of 150 in the Southeast region. So a smallish chain. Fun ambience, floor to ceiling windows, they have a lot of outdoor seating, and we really enjoyed looking at the walls and ceiling which are covered with fun graffiti artwork and photos of professional athletes with staffers in the dining room. They pay an Orlando based artist to paint all of these restaurants, there are about 150 in the Southeast. The dining room is nice and clean with comfy wooden chairs and plenty of comfy tables for four or two, and there is upbeat pop music on the radio and a TV playing sports. Bathrooms clean and serviceable. They have a fun help yourself hot sauce bar with 15 different flavors of sauces from sweet to very spicy. Drinks are limited to Pepsi soft drinks and beer, I wish they had a nice fresh lemonade to go with the tasty eats. But a small quibble. Gluten-free options include the nachos and a few other items, but it is mostly flour tortillas on the menu and in the desserts. The manager stopped by our table before we left to ask how our experience was, we remarked that the food was fresh and he stated that they do not have a microwave or a freezer in the restaurant.
