Hot sauce bar

We went for the Throwback Thursday menu. I got the steak bowl and my husband for a beef burrito. I probably wouldn't get the steak again it wasn't much. However I had a bite of my husband's beef and it was better so I'd probably get that next time. The cheese sauce is the same as it's always tasted. They have a good portion of chips on the side for the meal. Fellow water drinkers please be advised their bottled water is Dasani. The service was quick. We ordered at the counter and then sat down where they brought our Togo order to us. Inside has colorful artwork and has a gun collage vibe. Overall it's an Orlando classic with good deals.

This is just the cheese. I had to remove it. It was about an inch thick, barely any chicken.

Honestly, this place has gone so far downhill. I ordered my typical chicken nachos and a side of small guacamole. There was probably a bag of cheese on top of the nachos barely any lettuce or tomato and my guac was half full. Honestly it was disgusting You overcharged me for chips and cheese. Just because something is takeout doesn't give you the excuse to half ass people's food. You're so stingy with the sour cream and lettuce yet you put like a pound of cheese on it.

This particular Tijuana Flats is located on N. Avalon Park Boulevard and is located in a small strip mall next to a Walgreen's. This Tijuana Flats is basically located on the corner of N. Avalon Park Boulevard and Waterford Chase Parkway. With its location, this Tijuana Flats is convenient to both residents of Waterford Lakes and Avalon Park and is not that far off of East Colonial Drive for anyone in the mood for Tijuana Flats and traveling along East Colonial Drive. Tijuana Flats is a chain that coincidentally started here in Orlando, Florida. In addition to their Americanized version of Mexican food, Tijuana Flats also offers a hot sauce bar. Being a huge fan of hot and spicy food, this is a huge plus for me. I called in a takeout order. They gave me a pickup time of about twenty minutes and I headed over. The staff was friendly when I got there and I was on my way in a decent amount of time. I had one of their burrito bowls. I went with the Megajuana, which is their biggest and has double meat. Before I said that their food was an Americanized version of Mexican food. Kind if like a Chipotle, but they do not do an assembly line type build your meal. It is also a bit more than Chipotle, though the food is similar (truth be told, I probably prefer Chipotle over Tijuana Flats). Still, this is a good option if you want a more American take on Mexican food. Overall, I will give them five stars.

There's hardly anything in my daughters quesadilla! They suck always

Tijuana Flats in Avalon Park sucks! They constantly screw up the orders! The "LAST" order that we ordered was a chicken quesadilla with tomatoes and extra golden sauce and guacamole, a steak burrito with everything and got a chicken quesadilla with no cheese (except on side) and the steak burrito with everything came out as a chicken burrito with rice. Not happy. Called and they said they were going to refund the order. While in line another gentleman said they had messed his order up also and he told me it happens here all the time. He said to go to the TF by the fashion Mall. I believe that the next time I think I want TF, and willing to chance it, I will travel to the fashion mall site.

I popped in the other day for a takeout order on NYE. It wasn't very busy, but the service could have been better. I walked in and went to the register area to place my order and there was a young girl doing something on the computer. She seemed busy so I stepped back a bit since she wasn't ready. However, I was never greeted or acknowledged in that time and I stood there a few minutes. She never looked up to say hello, or to tell me it would just be a moment. It was like I wasn't even there. Finally, whenever she was done she asked how she could help me. She was pleasant taking the order, but as an initial interaction it was poor customer service. As for food, it came out relatively fast. I ordered the 2 Double Stacked Beef Tacos meal and an extra side of chips and queso. The Tacos were big. Honestly one taco is equivalent to two so I split the meal with my boyfriend. It was fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back to this location again. I just hope the customer service level at the register's changes a bit.

If you had tijuana flats you know what to expect, the food is good. Tex-mex somewhat simplified and also with a hint to lay back fun. I accompanied my wife on her yelp event to try the New Queso crunchy burrito, and I got the beef chimichanga. Both were delicious. Great both in size and flavor. The service was great! Very attentive and understanding of me not hearing well and everyone talking through masks. In the end... Come on is Tijuana Flats its been around this long for a reason right! Food is good service is great, grab lunch and be happy!

Hmmm. What to do when you've been drinking beers all day??? Get some tacos!! Beers all day definitely mean tacos. Yelp brought me here. I had some delicious chicken tacos in a crispy shell. It had blacked chicken, beans and cheese. Flavors were great and the taco shell was nice and crispy! For a side I had guacamole and chips. Guac was nice and chunky and good for dipping!! Tacos also came with chips, so there was plenty of chips to go around! My friends ordered a burrito, flautas, and enchilada. Everything was enjoyed by all!

This is the Location closer to me, and I go there often. I use the app to order to go and so far have had a good experience with them. I also Like the app rewards. We sometimes eat in, the ambience and the service is very good. The only complaint I may have is that sometimes when I order to go, there are no utensils, even when I added on the notes to please put some in. It has happened even when I have rice and beans and need at least a fork. Not biggie tho, but there have been times than I'm not going directly home so it's been challenging, overall the service is good, the food is delicious and comes out fast, the app works. Recommended.

Needed to have a quick mexican fix and Tijuana Flats does a nice job providing fresh product. Tex-Mex that cares about the freshness of ingredientes. There food and variety of hot sauces are very good if you want something quick that is fresh and not fast food. I want to give a shout of to the staff for their hospitality and positive attitude

I ended up ordering the Wildberry Mule and requested it to be less sweet. The bartender recommended the boom boom sauce on any of the entrées, so I chose the Boom Boom Chicken Enchilada. They also brought out chips and salsa, along with a creamy jalapeño dip. The salsa was fresh and delicious, and the chips were warm, which I really liked. It was the perfect amount of food, and I really enjoyed it. The boom boom sauce was pretty spicy, but really good. I did think the price was a little high for what I got, but overall it was a good dinner. The service was excellent.

I had my thoughts on the frozen raspberry margarita that I had the time before that was so delicious but unfortunately they did not have that flavor this time. I got the strawberry and lime frozen margaritas swirled together with a sugar rim. The margarita was pretty good. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. For an entree, I ordered the chicken flautas. This comes with rice and refried beans. When served, the entree came with 6 flautas which to me seemed like a decent portion. I was very disappointed though because there was barely any meat inside each one and I swear there was no cheese. Which cheese makes the dish. They were extremely dry and I only ate like 2. The rice and beans made up for the dish. I appreciate the salsa and chips that get brought out to each table.

Unfortunately, as much as I love the food there and the ambience, especially on Cinco de Mayo, I was starving! I remembered around the corner there was a restaurant that had been recommended in the past, but I never got the chance to check out. Being that I was in the area, I figured let's give this spot a try. Lo and behold, El Pueblo was only six minutes down the road! There was a 20 minute wait, but I was greeted kindly by the staff, and when I walked in you could tell this place was super authentic. The decor was super vibrant and music was bumping. They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. My friend got three tacos with rice and beans and I got the flautas you were able to choose your own meat, which was really cool no extra charge. Sometimes back up plans can end up being the best finds. Definitely will be back!!!!

However, since we've had my son, we're not in the area as much so we don't come as often, but we were at icon Park today and this seemed like the perfect place to take the rest of my family. It was an absolute hit! Grandma yelled at me for holding out on her! Why haven't you brought me here before? She had the agave chipotle queso chicken enchiladas. It was our servers recommendation and they were absolutely delicious. I had the birria appetizer and it was excellent. It was an appetizer, but it was so large. We couldn't eat it all and it could definitely be a meal if you wanted it to be. The absolute best thing is the kids menu. My son loves chips and queso so much. Queso dip is one of the sides you can get with the kids meal. How amazing is that? We go to some Mexican restaurants and I spend more on queso for this child than I do on a meal for him or even myself. He had the cheese quesadilla with queso and rice as sides. After lunch, I asked him if we could come back here and he said oh yes! My son ate most of his meal, but grandma and I both ended up taking to go boxes. I feel like the prices are pretty reasonable, especially the kids meal and for the portions they give you even for the adult meals. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She brought out fresh chips and salsa almost immediately, and as soon as our chips started to run low, she immediately replaced them. As soon as we ordered, I asked if she could bring my son's queso first and she gladly obliged. It was a very hot day and she kept our drinks full. We will definitely be back.
