It's interesting to me that there are so few reviews, one going back 3 years. Theirs was a 1 star which with so few reviews it drags the total score down, hence their 4 star overall rating. I read the review from the 1 star and based on their experience I would have been very pissed off as well. It was 3 years ago so hopefully they have removed that particular manager. I spend time living between Gilbert Az (a suburb of Phoenix) and Rocky Point( a seaside beach town in Mexico) so I do know a good taco. In Arizona most Mexican restaurants offer "taco Tuesday " with discounts, always a fun time. There are a number of reviews, high scores but did mention the size of their tacos. In all my years (I'm 70) these are exactly what you get from "street tacos", in Mexico you watch them cook the meat fresh on the cooktop and a serving is generally 4 to 6 tacos. The small difference is that all the sides are placed on the bench style seating, so you can pick and choose. Of course as hot or mild as you like. I did notice a few minor things, even though each taco was delicious, I didn't see any Chile or hot sauce to add. Again they were topped, cilantro, onions, and a non spicy pico de gallo (literally means bite of the rooster) are very typical and taste amazing, just not enough "bite". The overall flavor was great, meat was marinated perfectly, very moist but not enough to make the corn tortillas mushy, really good. I had a margarita, I'm used to a variety especially "Cadillac " ones. Not a fan of frozen ones, but it was very tasty. The reviews that mentioned a saltiness to the tacos were correct, I did notice the first bite was a bit salty but my own personal taste I prefer that flavor that salt adds. When I make my own tacos, I generally under salt, and friends can add more, can always add, but impossible to remove. So I get it. However great inexpensive quality food! I suppose that's why the line was halfway down the block, I walked afterwards and didn't see any other similar size restaurants with any lines, actually no lines at any other restaurants. So given all my own experiences and after reading all the other reviews, pretty easy with only 15, you guys are deserving of my 5 star and I'm a tough critic, but I have to give a 4 star. The SALT, the SALT. It is overwhelming and more heat. Tone down salt and amp up the pico and you have all the makings of a great experience. Although you guys are doing quite well on your own. I've had reviews where I received an email from Google saying that my review was read by more than a 100 people. I try to stay pithy and on point. I'll post this after my lunch today. Then tomorrow off to the Northern route to do another Camino hike. Won't see any tacos for the next 500 miles or 850 kilometers, still think in miles but my time in Mexico has made the conversion easier. So one last stop for tacos before leaving Madrid. The employees at this place are extremely incompetent and rude. I've never been more put off by a waitstaff or a manager in my entire life. I'm writing this several weeks after the incident occurred and it still gets me fuming any time I think about it. Here's what happened: My friends and I were a party of four and we placed our order at the front of the restaurant and proceeded to TRY and sit down at a table for four people. The table had a stool at the end of it, meaning five could sit there. But again, it was a table that was designed for FOUR people. Because we weren't a party of five, they made us take our large quantity of food and squeeze it on a tiny little counter, IN CASE a group of five came in. Meanwhile, the table in front of it was for SIX people, but there were only FIVE sitting there. There was no consistency to the policy and, of course, the one we tried to sit at remained empty the entire duration of our meal... I asked to speak to the manager after the nasty waitress had had enough of arguing with me about it. He said, "Oh, we're a small place, so imagine a group of five comes in and sees that the table is empty and they leave." To which I answered, "We could have left too if we had known about this dumb policy, but we didn't, and we PAID for our food, so maybe we should take priority." He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I decided to try and calm down because it was my friend's birthday and I didn't want to ruin the mood of the group. Because of slow service, our food came in waves. In other words, we were only able to fit our stuff on the counter because only one of us was eating at a time. As the last of us to receive our food was wrapping up, I noticed something that made me absolutely lose it: THEY LET A GROUP OF TWO SIT AT THE "TABLE FOR FIVE" THAT THEY WOULDN'T LET US, A GROUP OF FOUR, SIT AT. First, I confronted the waitress about it, and she told me, "Well, it's a shared table..." At this point, it was clear they had blatantly lied to us the whole time, so I responded, "THEN WHY COULDN'T WE, A GROUP OF FOUR, SHARE IT?!" She basically ignored me and I moved onto the manager. I said the same thing to him that I said to the waitress, "If it's a shared table, WHY COULDN'T THE FOUR OF US SHARE IT?" His response was, "You're a bit annoying, don't ya think? This is the second time you've come up to me about this." Instead of addressing how we had been lied to and treated as second-rate customers, he told me I was annoying. Really great customer service, huh? Anyway, I was effing done with this loser and I told him, "I might be annoying, but you're an a-hole." He threatened to call the police on me, but he didn't even do it to my face. He went over to my friends and said if I didn't calm down, he'd call the police. Then he stormed upstairs, throwing stuff at the wall. The kitchen staff looked on, awestruck, as this grown man had a temper tantrum, prompted by an inability to adequately explain his arbitrary policies when confronted about them. In summary, this is an absolute embarrassment of an establishment that has lost my patronage for life, despite the 1€ tacos and cute decor. Just classless. read more

Delicious street tacos and drinks. We had lime margaritas and a mix of different tacos. My favorite was the cactus taco, but the carnitas were also yummy. The ambiance was lively and fun. Small restaurant so try to get there when they open otherwise you will have a bit of a wait for a table. read more

The tacos are good for pictures but that's pretty much it. Maybe we just had bad luck but the meat wasn't really moist and the tacos where salty as could be. Honestly, the food put me off. I wanted to give this place a shot because there's no line and the tacos are 1€. The guacamole that we ordered was also super salty and it was difficult to eat considering the chips where also salted. I couldn't even eat the taco de lengua because it was so salty it felt like I was eating just salt. The michelada was good, so there's that. It's a real bummer that this place isn't better because it has such a cute interior and a nice vibe. read more
