I assume depending on the type of event you're having, depends on the furniture that's provided. We were going through a bit of a heat wave when this event occurred, so it was hot and humid to the ultimate outside. When we entered into the building it was even hotter. Literally no air was circulating in the building or on the elevator. I was a bit worried that the venue was going to be that warm too, but thankfully it wasn't. Not sure if it's like that normally, but I hope that issue gets addressed because it was truly uncomfortable. The venue itself is a cute and intimate space. It does give you the feel of a loft - hardwood floors and a chic flow, but the entryway is a bit dated and only one elevator was working that evening. It's a pretty cool option for a venue/space for an event. I think it would be perfect for a baby shower, wedding shower, cocktail party or something on a smaller scale. I'll put this on my list for future venue options, hopefully it just won't be during a heat wave.

She had a buffet style dinner which consisted of friend chicken, mac and cheese, string beans with carrots, salmon, roast beef with gravy...rolls and a variety of cakes selections. One of the reasons we booked this venue is because it's literally a one stop shop. They do the catering, the cake, the tablecloths/place setting, bar, the set-up and clean-up! Of course we had a florist, dj, 360 Photo Booth and other crowd pleasers, but the bulk of the items that were required were provided by the venue. The Villa provides a day-of planner, which she was absolutely helpful and knowledgeable, but I wanted someone who knew me personally to advocate for me. I hired another coordinator to be my liaison for the day. I would suggest you do the same, if you're getting married. It's just good to have someone that knows you or will advocate for you when you need them. I had a few hiccups during my wedding day and expressed my concerns to management the day after. The professionalism and courtesy they provided us was extremely appreciative. From start to finish, my wedding coordinator explained everything, responded to all 5 million of my emails - in a very timely manner. Anything we were confused or didn't understand, was thoroughly explained. My original coordinator left her position, but Tracy stepped right in with both feet on the ground. If you're on the fence, give this venue a try. We had our wedding in the tent, which I believe is called the Renaissance Room. Attempting to book an event with the Treetop Atrium was a complete disappointment. I contacted the…read morenumber listed online several times during late 2018 to no avail. My mother received a recommendation about the Treetop Atrium and I was very excited to host my baby shower there. She also attempted to reach the coordinators at the venue and received a call back just this April. That should have been alarming enough, but I still set an appointment to view the space. Shirley, the event manager, met me on an afternoon in April and showed me around the venue. Again, I was excited about the possibility of booking the space after our meeting. She even offered to honor the Winter special price of $2500 instead of the $3900 the space is renting for at this time. Shirley gave me her personal number and assured me I could communicate with her that way. When I mentioned I tried to reach her using the posted office number she told me I probably didn't answer the phone call when they returned it like most people do when they don't recognize a number, including her. I could not relate to that statement, but I let it ride to avoid ruffling feathers. It was clear to me at that point she was not willing to take responsibility for the poor communication and responses of the venue. Nonetheless, I let that go and thought moving forward could work in my favor. I left the venue and consulted with my family and friends and we decided booking the space would be best. Ms. Shirley confirmed an appointment with me April 18 at 1 pm to secure the space with a deposit and my mother agreed to meet her by text. In this text correspondence, I asked Shirley if my friends who would personalize the space could come at a later date to see the venue and she told me everyone had to be present April 18 at 1 pm. I further asked her to accommodate me and I was totally ignored. Shirley did not show up for the April 18 meeting with my mother although she confirmed this was the only time we could meet with her. My mother waited at the venue for an hour and a half, left Shirley a message and text her personal phone number provided. I also text Shirley to let her know my mother was waiting. She ghosted me completely. I was in shock that she did not show up for this meeting or reply to our correspondence. Needless to say she still has not returned my call to this day. I spoke to her assistant Frankie who told me Shirley had an emergency during our meeting and would call me in the following week. That never happened. It is very disheartening that this venue, but specifically Shirley, operates with such a lack of professionalism. If my request to view the space after booking it was too ridiculous for Shirley, she could have stated that she didn't want to continue the deal instead of intentionally ignoring my calls and texts. If Shirley did not want to honor the lower rate, she could have stated that as well. This is not the way to do business and I would suggest saving yourself the headache and book with a more professional venue. I am very disappointed in the way this business deal was handled, but I feel much more comfortable knowing I dodged a bullet in working with Shirley. Imagine if she arbitrarily started to ignore me after I was financially involved? Beware of business deals with the Treetop Atrium. Prince George's County deserves a more professional venue than what they are able to offer consistently.

Sarah had been the epitome of the heart and soul of customer service as I visited several times with the organizers of the gala. Her patience and knowledge was impeccable! She thoroughly answered all questions and made herself available when needed. As you walk up the curved steps there are several rooms including a beautiful chandelier room with a panoramic view. This room is perfect backdrop for elegant photos. There's ample space for an open or cash bar in the section to your left. Cocktail hour was fancied by high top tables and the most friendly staff members at the open bar area. The bathrooms were well decorated and maintained. Unfortunately, there was no heat which was surprising as this place screams of luxury. Also, this was one of the coldest days of the year. I think that food should be included as I was aware that the food at the gala had been catered by a private chef or restaurant. There is plenty of parking which is within a gated area.

The venue itself is a gem, a beautiful and elegant space. The maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. We hosted our event 12/5, the heat was not working in all areas, the chandelier rooms upstairs are beautiful but the walls could stand a cleaning or touchup paint job. They supplied a chaise for photos however it was stained. Personally, I caution anyone wanting to use this venue to read the contract and sit with management to review all sections as there are contradictory. Contract states we would have venue staff on the day of the event, however, we only had Daniel who monitored inside and one security officer who stayed in their vehicle the entire event. The rest was our guests, catering company staff, Our DJ and did I mention the freezing spaces Management stopped by for a quick introduction (first time meeting them though this rental is overpriced) during our event... I advise folks to request numerous walkthroughs and meet management or owners prior to full commitment . Beautiful space but I was let down by lack of consideration from management...
