Outside seating with hamburger basket and brews
Bob M.

Great service and a fun dining experience. We always order the hamburger basket (so big you can split) and a pitcher of frothy beer. Shock on top is a winner! The outdoor seating on a sunny day is very enjoyable with boats passing and geese grazing. We brought our pooch also!

#lakelife Had to come to the infamous Tilton Hilton. Burger and fires were amazing. Everyone should come here at least once. Not going to lie the docking situation is very tight. If you can't steer your boat well....drive. Also be sure to raise your prop or you will be stuck.

Another hole in wall at Indian Lake. Food was good, service was excellent, price was good. Many folks arrived by boat and there was ample docking slots. Restroom was large and clean. Who could ask for more? Not I. If you notice the floor runs downhill, you're not drunk. I guess that's why they call it the Tilton Hilton. Used to be called Turkey Foot or something...

This is a good dive bar to stop in for a cheap beer, two beers on tap, a shock-top and a mic ultra, everything else in cans or bottles. Theron hours are wrong on Yelp, believe its supposed to read 2:30 am, there were still open late this afternoon with a bunch of bikers at the outside tables. Inside it's dark and dingy, the floor must be 2" off between the highs and lows, no credit cards accepted. Food is basic, the burgers do not appear to be cheap wholesale patties, tasted pretty good with a $4 Bush. Most of the hard alcohol behind the bar appears to be cheap generic brands

We went out boating with the family and decided to stop for a late lunch. We heard some decent things about this place so we decided to give it a try. The burgers are supposedly "famous", but I was majorly disappointed. The fried food we got was good but the pizza tasted like cardboard and the burger was dry, crumbly, and flavorless. As we were finishing up our meals, I looked across the table to find my mother in a state of surprise and disgust. She had found something bright blue in her burger. When we showed it to the waitress she simply she "oh, weird". Not to mention two of the meals we ordered were wrong and the waitress didn't even offer to remake them.

The burger was delicious, the bacon ranch chicken wrap was terrible. 100% don't recommend the wrap. Those dive bar is over priced too. Waitress did nothing but walk off when I told her my food wasn't good.

The ladies were very friendly and prompt. Reminded me of my little lake bar and the food was great as well.

Amazing service, and great food. It does live up to the name with the tilted floor.

Very busy most of the time. Burgers are very large but lack a lot of flavor. Fries are excellent. Overall a good place to eat.

Buckeye At The Lake - Not going to work for me at $23.00

Buckeye At The Lake

Our family is continuing our tour of the area pizza places, and last week was Buckeye at the Lake…read more I'd never been before, and we didn't dine in, so I can't speak to what that experience is like other than what I saw. Called in the order, and when I arrived, it was busy (Thursday night). The kitchen seemed a bit chaotic as I waited for our order. The pizzas were done, almost, on time, but our order of garlic bread I kept being told would be a few more minutes... and then a few more minutes... and then a few more minutes. I'm not sure if it was missed from the order, or given to another table or what, but I was close to asking them to just forget about the garlic bread. Anyway, our 25-30 minutes turned into nearly 50 minutes once the whole order was ready to go. That being said... the pizza was delightful! The sauce is delicious, the crust was perfect, and the toppings were awesome. The inside of the establishment looking casual and fun as well, nice bar area, and a patio. I definitely want to come back and try this place again and dine-in. My word of warning is that maybe don't be on a time-crunch or have somewhere you have to be right away. Maybe my experience was a fluke, but if not, good food - just might be a few minutes longer of a lunch/dinner than you anticipate. Overall, great pizza!

Ordered a large meat pizza on the app said would be ready at 5:36 got there and it was ready and…read morehot. But hears where it goes down hill. Pizza had very little meat on it( alot of bacon pieces) but it had enough cheese on it to bounce outside the box little to no sauce. This was by far the worst pizza I have ever had and it had been a long time for us to give them another try . Everytime we Ordered to pick up our pizza was A never even made so had to wait 30 minutes for that and it wasn't right .The last time ( before this time) Told me I hadn't ordered one but there computer shows i paid for one i ask why I would pay for a pizza i didn't order the young lady said she didn't know and left it had to ask to speak to someone in charge this took another 30 minutes then the fill in manager said she would have my pizza in 20 to 25 minutes to wait in my car and come back in that time I ask for my money back she told me she couldn't give me my back because I hadn't ordered one. So that was last summer nothing has really changed it's still a mess So we're Done Marie

Lunch at Woody's Diner: A Buckeye Superfan's Dream…read more If heaven has a diner, it needs to be like Woody's--otherwise, I don't want to go. As a lifelong Ohio State fan, walking into this place felt less like lunch and more like stepping straight into Buckeye Heaven. Every inch of the diner is drenched in scarlet and gray pride--autographed photos, jerseys worn by real players, helmets, and memorabilia that makes you want to stand up and belt out "Carmen Ohio." I knew before even cracking the menu: I was home. Our server, Grace, was all smiles and Buckeye spirit. She gave us the rundown--Woody's has been serving up Buckeye-influenced eats for about 15 years. And it shows. The burgers aren't just burgers here--they're tributes, each named after coaches, players, or football legends. Picking one felt like draft day. Grace recommended the Dustin Burger, named after former Buckeye great Dustin Fox. Now, I'll admit--when I heard "peanut butter on a burger," my first reaction was the same as when Michigan wins a game: complete disbelief. But I trusted Grace. And let me tell you... this was no trick play. This half-pound beauty came stacked with peanut butter, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a fried egg. It sounds strange, but somehow the combo worked like a perfectly executed Flea Flicker. The bun was grilled, the burger cooked to a juicy medium rare, and by the second bite I needed a stack of napkins big enough to block a defensive line. My wife went with the Tailgate Burger--a powerhouse with house-made BBQ sauce, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, Miracle Whip, and onion straws. Cooked to medium well, it was sweet, tangy, and messy enough to require its own offensive coordinator. She said it was delicious--though maybe a little too "sloppy touchdown celebration" for her liking. And get this--burgers are just the start. The menu is huge, with pizzas, sandwiches, and even big entrees like grilled steak and pork chops. But honestly, when the burgers are this good, I don't know if I could ever call another play. So here's my verdict: Woody's Diner = Buckeye pride + killer burgers + friendly staff = one unforgettable lunch. If you're a Buckeye fan, or just a burger fan, or hey, even if you're that rare soul who just likes food with personality--high tail it to Woody's. Trust me, it's worth it. Until next time, I'm Brian -- and remember to Take the Trip! (And yes, I may have sung the Ohio State fight song all the way home. My wife can confirm.)
