Maintenance needs are met usually in 24 hours, and the office staff is very nice. I'm especially a fan of their apartments within larger houses- they really feel like home. Today I locked my keys in my car, Jason the manager answered right away. Maintenance was able to get my spare car key for me, they changed my lock and he brought my keys to my work. Our fridge has a damaged door shelf, the dishwasher is DISGUSTING, and they claim to have onsite laundry which is a complete lie (can't speak for those that might have in-unit laundry available). We also have neighbors that have threatened us twice, and they are extremely loud. We often hear violent and aggressive sounds, screams, and banging coming from their unit. Our complaints and concerns are ignored. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these apartments.

However i have faced 3 problems that the managemnet can improve in first 1)the rent paymnet is very manual. In other words no internet payment. so you need to pay manual check.I had to pay late fees because they claimed they never got my check from the rent drop box. I paid the late fees.They made look like I am lying . 2) after a week moving , my heater used to shutdown and I had no hot water.I called maintenance for 3 consequent times after each time hot water would come and then stop. After complaining, the management says i have wait for a while to heat back up. Aweful response from the management, however i noticed even i wait for a day it wasnt happening. In the end after three times the manitenance visited and repaired. Its fine now. 3) the Internet guy this management refers in their welcome package for Comcast or xfininity, called stan young....turns out he talked a lot and lured me into highest package and said he would get this discount, credit and etc,..nothing happened. $120 first month. I called more than 5 times and left voice mails like 3 times. He finally answers and tells he will fix it in one hour. Boom nothing happens. So why does Mountford management refers such guys in their apartment welcome package.

The hallways are dirty, there is trash thrown all over outside, its an eyesore, and I still cant have have any visitors over due to the nasty smell of weed and whatever else. Then people speed through the cul du sac like a nascar racetrack and even in the parking lots with no regard to others and its horrible. I get odors of weed, vape, and whatever else coming through my heating vents, and this complex was once nice in the late 90s I cant say that now its gone wayyy downhill and I thought this would be better than were I used to live. Its becoming that or worse. I also pay for a parking spot but the lot is so narrow and needs repaving, and other people continue to park there anyway for the last 4+ years. Then people mess with your car or go through it, as the lighting out here is poor and its not safe to go out at night. I have an older car and it looks like someone has taken a knife to the paint of it and on the rubber of passenger side of the car. I've also had it gone through more than once and there is nothing of value, but still my car freezes when its below zero or extreme cold, so this is really frustrating. I've been with this company for 12+ years and it does not seem like they take care of their complexes like they did before and that's a shame. The office staff is nice, but its a shame that this so called great location is anything but on the inside & outside.... I still have leaves from last fall near my window, numerous trash trash outside my window near the over grown trees, and its an eyesore to bring anyone here to visit in fact I don't... There are so many nail pops on the balcony it's not even present to walk out on. Not to mention the fear of it collapsing because it so rickety. The 2nd star is because the maintenance is quick to respond. The manager... trying to talk to her requires having to stop talking constantly because she rudely over talks you with a condescending tone to what she is saying. How can you be condescending when you don't let someone finish talking? I don't know but she has mastered it. There is dog poop everywhere I understand it is not the direct responsibility of the apartments to pick it up but even a little monitoring of people letting the dogs poops just anywhere and not picking it up would go a long way. Other reviews have mentioned unsavory people and drugs shady people all over. I have seen none of that. I have never feared for my safety here. They do things like resurfacing the parking lot and having pest control companies come out with less than 48 hours of notice not allowing for proper time to make arrangements if you have pets and don't want chemicals sprayed all over with them in the apartment. You pay extra for "corporate" apartments which are fully furnished "with everything you need" they say. Maybe if you order take out constantly and don't cook more than Mac and cheese. You also think upgrades apartment not delaminating countertops and dining room chairs chewed up by someone else's dog. The appliances are old than me and the ones that aren't are barebone basic barely operating properly. All and all it's nice they don't restrict full size dogs and the maintenance is prompt. The office staff over sells the property and the manager is rude. I would never recommend anyone renting here.

I have spent good money on my clothes then a washer that now depleted the dark color and the shape. By fading and shrinking. Then come to find out ALL WASHERS ARE HOT WATER, you only get cool water if you run the hot water heater out. I've never wanted to scream over laundry but this setting on the washer has just demolished a $55 pair of jeans that I only wore once. !!!! Forget calling a manager. They don't have sympathy what so ever. This building is gross, smells like pot. They put signs up for ppl to avid by but they misspelled the wording and grammar was off. The building had potential the location is great. The people make it this bad!! I'm moving asap. Swartz property needs to clean up the trash! Forget trying to pay rent in a modern way it's cash only or money order in office only. Alternate methods of paying rent would be helpful for all of that have jobs!!!
